It was the performance of a front
It was the performance of a front office staff member which left the whole Singapore experience with distaste. A promised and confirmed late check-out was subsequently cancelled without our knowledge and only offered to be re-instated after a fee of $80. I would not return to this venue.

This is a beautiful hotel with the dining room and terrace overlooking the river, good food, good accommodation and the public areas are sizeable and impressive. It does not have a lot of outside space or gardens, the pool area is not large for the size of the hotel but is good enough - it is after all a city hotel rather than a beach resort. It is close to Chinatown, south of the river, I think the nearest metro station is Clark Quay. Would definitely stay there again.

We could not fault this hotel,
We could not fault this hotel, it was exceptional. All staff were very friendly and helpful.The breakfast and happy staff were a very pleasant start to the day and our evening night cap in the Piano Bar after a long and busy day sight seeing was just as good. Will definitely be back.

The reception was excellent &
The reception was excellent & a happy buzz greeted us on arrival. We enjoyed the breakfast location, the variety of the buffet was excellent, the staff were really attentive & friendly for the first 2 days but, a different compliment were there for the Friday & they appeared neither as secure or happy! A different atmosphere pervaded, and attention to detail was just a little slack. The bed was really comfortable, and enjoyed the large shower, but would have liked to be offered a room with a bath. We needed an extra light at the bedside as only 1 person was able to read in bed. No standard lamp available for reading in the armchair either.

Well located hotel near Clarke
Well located hotel near Clarke Quay. Requested room overlooking canal. Excellent Buffet Breakfast. Room slightly dated with need for bathrooms to be updated. Shower recess had mould and need regrouting. However nice hotel and we would stay again. Hote value for money.

Hotel, staff and suitablity as
Hotel, staff and suitablity as an APEC venue were first rate. The f&b on site also deserve a special mention - they're terrific! Was frustrated that the wireless services did not extend to the rooms. the rack rates were average in comparision to like hotels in SG and the region. the cost of daily internet access was expensive.
