Found huge cockroach in bathroom
Only half the elevators worked, found huge cockroach in bathroom, the 2 beds in the room were different sizes, not really convenient to attractions downtown and wireless in rooms not free.

Front Desk Manager not helpful
Paid the full balance of my stay using a credit card other than the one used at check-in because the charges were more than originally anticipated. After paying the full $2,000+ balance, the hotel manager couldn't assist removing the credit hold. The hold prevented me from using my credit card to purchase souvenirs for family. Would have liked the front desk manager to be more helpful in removing the credit hold, rather than condescending grimace of my hardship.

Excellent Hotel
Room was typical Holiday Inn fare, with a couple of extras ( robe slippers and a pillow menu). Staff were friendly and helpful and the amenities were OK. wWe enjoyed the location, but might be a problem for some. Not close to a MRT station, but buses are plentiful and taxis are cheap. One block away from the Singapore river, with an assortment of bars and restaurants that cater to tourists, but we we preferred local cuisine and there are two markets within 5 minute walks. Overal great value and would stay there again

The hotel is nice, up to the Holiday Inn standards, but at US$200+ for the night, I would have expected that breakfast and Internet would be included...

Spectacular hotel which lives up to first impressions - beautiful rooms with great views and very helpful staff. Close to the river and Clark Quay, but less convenient for shopping. Worth a bit of inconvenience in that respect!

A very nice hotel at a reasonable
A very nice hotel at a reasonable price. The staff were friendly and very professional. The room was a good size with comfortable and clean beds. Position is not close to the MRT but it is only a short taxi ride to one of three stations. Over-all a good stay, I would have no problem booking the same hotel next stay.

This is the second time I stayed here and it was just as great as the first time. The staff was great and the hotel and accomodations are great. The location is nice and within walking distance to several eating establishments. A great place to stay

Nice Room
Really well appointed Hotel. 15 mins walk to Clarke Quey. 15-20 mins to China Town and 3-4 min walk to Bus Stop for Tour Buses around the City. The Botanicle Gardens are a must see. Not over impressed with the food in the Buffet restaurant. But there are a million other places to eat in Singapour. If I went back to singapour I would stay here.

Sightseeing tip:
Short drive from hotel
The Botanic Gardens are the best we have been to. Wide open space in the heart of the City. We loved it. There is even a rain forest there.
