M Hotel Singapore

Hotel is good, convenient & near MRT, easy access to everywhere including airport, only comment is that spread of breakfast is limited. I would recommend it

Good location in the business district with a taxi stand in front of the hotel and only 3 mins walk from the Tanjong Pagar MRT station. Room set-up is efficient with modern decor, bright lights and two-seater couch. Though the sink area is rather small, the towels are nice and thick. Beds are quite hard but comfortable.

Beautiful Hotel with large, lovely, clean and well equipped room. Good location. Staff are very friendly, courteous and provide excellent and professional service. Excellently priced especially with free vehicle parking and breakfast. Will definitely return and can fully recommend to members.

A very good location especially if your office is in the business district. The MRT is less than 5 mins walk from the hotel. The breakfast was very good for the price we paid for the room. Will definitely stay there again. The concierge was very helpful too.

M Hotel Singapore was a very nice place to stay in the central business district with very good service and professional, courteous staff. I had a single non-smoking room with a desk which was perfect for working on PC (as i did a lot of). If you need working space, I suggest you ask for a minor upgrade to this kind of room. I was previously in the slightly smaller room with two twin beds, so decided to switch -- and it was quite nicer so I'm glad i did (and i paid no difference for the upgrade - the staff was very accomodating). The bathrooms are nice, but lacked warmth, and perhaps too modern for my tastes, but certainly extremely clean and functional (showers felt small at times, but there was a huge bathtub available too, which i didn't use). I was there on business for 4 nights, and everything was in walking distance. Cab rides anywhere were also very inexpensive compared to anywhere in the USA (for example, the 20 minute cab ride to Dempsey Hill for dinner was only about $18 singapore dollars which is roughly $15 US) - same for a morning trip to Rifle Range Road for a jog in the jungle (highly recommended!). There are plenty of restaurant options if you don't eat at the hotel, and very close to famous stops like Lau Pa Sat for local outdoor dining flavors, but the breakfast buffet is excellent with many selections and fresh fruits too (and for me was included in the room price). The bar on the 9th floor was busier than I expected for a mid-week, mid-floor venue, and had outdoor seating as well, with live music too. Drinks are more expensive in Singapore, but the bar was still busy. Overall was a great stay for a business traveler, but if I were to bring a spouse or children I would probably opt for something closer to Orchard (shopping) or Clark Quay (water/promenade/dining) but the transportation in singapore is top notch and inexpensive so M Hotel would work for about anyone. Oh yeah, the people are also very beautiful everywhere you go.

Very nice hotel and good value for money when I booked it (around S$ 200 including breakfast). Tip: Don't bother to pay more for the "Deluxe room": The difference to the 'superior room' is: - slightly bigger (maybe 2 meter longer, but the 'superior' one is plenty big enough) -view on the harbour (which is not so great and is more noisy as you also have view on the express way) - wireless telephone (never use the one in the hotel anyway) Positives: - spacious rooms - good gym and pool (allthough not very big) - good breakfast (but don't come too close to 10:30 as otherwise the choice will be limited) - quick transfer from airport - not far from MRT - walking distance from China Town (some 10 min) Negatives: - expensive internet (S$ 24 for 24 hours, S$ 10 for 1 hour) - slow check-in All in all I would recommend it and might stay here again if the price is right.

Good location, clean rooms, nice staff.

Room was very large, modern and clean (except for one day when maid was very late - substiture maid finally showed but didn't do a very good job). Two "single" beds - larger than a twin, smaller than a double. There was a lounge chair as well as a desk in the room. Like the rest of Singapore there were charges for everything extra ($30/day for internet, $50 a day for rollaway bed, etc.) Taxi stop out front, 2 blocks from the metro. Designed more for business travellers than families - no tourism brochures, etc. Concierge was helpful with questions. Breakfast was not included and hotel restaurant was exhorbitant. A large variety of ethnic restaurants as well as basic burgers all within a few blocks. View out the window was of the dockyard, but rooms were extremely silent - no sound penetration from either outside or from neighboring rooms. Room quite large. Would stay in again.

The hotel room and facilities were great, the GF restaurant 2000 was fantastic, the staff very kind, helpful and knowledgeable. But at 800AM Saturday there was a wedding party wake-up call next door that was not quieted for a half hour after our call to the front desk. No morning newspapers a bit of a surprise, and the internet rates are insulting.
