Reasonable, but good quality
Hotel staff was very kind and helpful. A twin room was a little bit small but clean and cozy, and the price was reasonable. A few cons: two people need to share one key for a twin room. Rooms have only wired internet connection, and you need to be in the lobby to connect your laptop/phone to wifi. I saw a couple of very tiny ants. While there are a few cons, I really enjoyed my stay at Perak Hotel.

Nice little hotel. You need to be prepared for little India though. It's a fair walk to the underground and especially on a Saturday night you will find yourself a distinct minority amongst hundreds of East Indians, mainly men, in the streets. Not that there is any trouble but you could be in Delhi. If you like exotic you've got it here.

Sightseeing tip:
Not Applicable
Be independent...be open to what your heart desires and not what your head thinks you should do! People told me,,"You'll love Singapore," I DIDN'T, that's why i'm in K\L tonight and already love where i've walked, what i've seen the food i've eaten and the little hotel i'm in!! You might not,,so don't project your time,,like it and stay,,don't,then leave..That's me!

Great family hotel
Staff really friendly and accommodating. Breakfasts great. Rooms clean and comfy. Only downside, noise from bar next door had to sleep with earplugs.

The hotel is good at its service,
The hotel is good at its service, we arrive in the hotel at 8:00am, and asked for the early check-in, the reception agreed to do so. It gave us a big help after our long trip. They even provide free breakfast for us. The location is alright, take forty minutes to airport by MRT. The room is tiny, but it's ok for sleep purpose.

I stayed at this hotel for second
I stayed at this hotel for second time in three months, and again found the staff to be very friendly and supportive. I arrived after an overnight flight and they let me check into the room six hrs ahead of regular check-in time, at no extra cost. They willingly provided local advice on locations and shopping. The homely setting completed the experience!
