Great hotel, interesting concept.

Great hotel, interesting concept. Only gripe was that the walls were kind of thin so you could hear everything going on in other rooms and outside the door.

I think it was a new hotel when

I think it was a new hotel when i 1st check in and hence the registration was a bit slow. However as i booked the room to celebrate my husband's birthday, the staff took the initiative to upgrade our room which i really appreciate it. The morning buffet was disappointing as the varieties were limited. Also the omelette section was very slow. Overall as the room is unqiue, we still have a good stay.

The bathroom and toilet is ridiculously

The bathroom and toilet is ridiculously small and anyone heavier than 100lbs would do themselves a favour by finding alternative accommodation. Puzzles me that the design meets with modern requirements at all. Staff reasonably helpful but does not seem to be knowledgeable about the area. Young kids can't replace experienced staff. One of the porters expected to be tipped after delivering the luggage by making excuses to not leave the room. I found that annoying. Won't be back there. Most disappointing experience in Singapore.

Good price, good location, but

Good price, good location, but I didn't like the room layout with the bed upstairs. I found it quite dangerous to climb up and down the stairs. Toilet and shower very small in size downstairs. I'm proabaly too old for this.... The coffeeshop downstairs doesn't provide the best breakfast but excellent coffee which is rare in hotels.

If you are over 6ft tall you will

If you are over 6ft tall you will struggle using the toilet, not much room in the downstairs part of room. Shower excellent as is the bed. My opinion is that this hotel is good for the single business person or very short stays, not a holiday hotel at all. Service around the pool is non-existent and the breakfast can be a bun fight.
