Disappointing!
Not great value for money, 5 star but only 3 start at its bets! the only great thing about the hotel was the location. You can book any of the hundreds hotel in the vicinity at a fraction of price. don't bother! Lack of free wifi was another downfall as the starbucks offered free wifi and the hotel was charging $28 for 24 hours!!! what a rip off. The bathroom fixture was very old and antiquated. The spa facilities were shared with fairmont and very good apart from the staff at the spa who were very rude and abrupt. I got told off to wait as outside as there was 3 minutes before it opened...the gym staff however very courteous.

Short walk from hotel
Star bucks nearby with free wifi, don't bother spending $28 for 24hours. Good food outlets in every shopping centres, inter connected underground and air conditioned which is a God send... Don't bother going for the 'Singapore flyer' better off with the Sky Park viewing platform.

Not a good experience!
Check in was conducted without a smile or a welcome. Only interested in taking a credit card deposit (no receipt given until requested!). The first room we were given was truly awful: basic, empty minibar, dated furnishings. After complaining to the Duty Manager it was changed to a more acceptable one. On the plus side, as the Business Centre was closed at 11pm the front desk staff allowed me to check in for my flight online at the reception. Also, a late checkout was provided when asked.

Great location, fab rooms and service
We stayed in the executive rooms on 60th floor. Balcony with spectacular views of City, nice club room with breakfast and soft drinks included during the day and appetisers and drinks each evening- good added value. Pool was a little disappointing and had to share with Fairmont which means a bit crowded but on plus side you get to use the Fairmont Spa which is great. Location is great- on top of one of best malls in Singapore and easy access to MRT for other travel requirements. Staff very helpful.

Staffs were attentive and observant
Staffs were attentive and observant to details, room was clean, location was good but found that the tv in the room is very small compared to other 5 stars hotels and there was no complimentary parking with a charge of $25 per day.

Great views from executive floor,
Great views from executive floor, room good though the bathroom was a bit dated and marble cracked. Breakfast in the lounge was only OK not much variety, but very convenient. Have stayed here many times so overall very happy. The location and view are the main attractions.
