V Hotel Lavender Singapore

hotel looks new and tidy. very close to the subway and very convenient for city trips

Amara hotel is better and cheaper. The location is not good, too far away from the city. The hotel has no amenities or very few of them. The swimming pool was too cold. I could not swim.

1. Hotel location is situated in the center of the city where all parks and tourist spots are located. 2. Some of the amenities needs to be upgraded such as bedside switches to lights . 3. TV remote control are not available, you have to ask to be delivered to your room.

It is ideal for family and couple. Staff is very cordial and helpful. MRT and Convenience store could not be closer. Free local calls, a Safe and Hair Dryer in the room is plus. I would definitely stay here again.

Location is the most strategic place, near lavender MRT, kopitiam food court..... But uncomfortable waiting room

The hotel is located right above the Lavender subway station which is very convenient to get to the touristy areas. Right downstairs, there is a food court which is open 24 hrs for those who have late night cravings. There were three of us and the room is quite small. The bathroom is also very small but the room was well maintained and we only used it to sleep at night so it was not a big deal. The staff were ok. They were friendly but didn't go out of their way to make you feel welcome unlike other hotels we stayed at throughout our trips to Asia.

hotel was centrally located off lavender metro station; not too far from points of interests. wifi charge is $10 per day though. no special bells or whistles for the room. shower pressure is adequate. best advantage of this hotel is the value compared to other similar hotels.

Good and convenient location next to the Lavender MRT Station. 24 hrs good quality coffee shops are just around the hotel. It would have been perfect if free internet is complimentary.

I chose the V Hotel Lavender based solely on price. Perhaps this was my mistake, or perhaps I'm just a spoiled traveler. First the good. Room was clean. Now for the other stuff. The Room is small, even by Asian hotel standards the room is small. No Iron, No complementary soap as the review says, it lacks that something. Also be warned, if you are adverse to "busy" this hotel is NOT for you. This is a VERY BUSY hotel, you will not get a clean or less than packed elevator ride despite the hour of day or night you decide to try. Always a packed elevator and there are significant wait times for said elevators. The hotel staff is so-so at best. The hotel description is correct, each room has WiFi would like them to be more specific and tell you it's 10 bucks a day. Not a big deal, however would be nice to know this in advance. Location is not good nor bad, but not good if you are looking to be near the sights of Singapore. Everything is pretty much a 8-10 dollar cab ride away. ( cabs are difficult to get depending on time of day) Honestly, if I were traveling alone on business, I might consider this hotel, With 2 persons, certainly not room is too small and not worth the savings with the lack of little things. Not a vacation hotel in the least as everything from the location to dealing with the staff, to lack of little things in the little room seemed to be a hassle. traveler beware. Not a horrible hotel, just know what you are getting into.
