A good selection
We enjoyed our stay at the Danube Hotel, although the name has changed to the "Park Inn Danube". The location is wonderful, great service at the front desk, the main restaurant was under construction but there were many selections off campus. The location is ideal to the Danube River, the old city and the famous local sights. We had a great stay and would consider returning on our next stay in Bratislava.

brief Bratislava stay
My family spent 4 days at Danube Hotel. It is clean, centrally located, accessible, located in the old town district. Staff is pleasant, courteous, and accomodating. Hotel is within walking distance of most attractions, and public transportation is ample. Parking on premises, although 20-25 euros per day. Recommend highly.

Your perfect location for a trip to Bratislava
By the Danube river and a the pedestrian walk leading to the old city, this hotel could not be in a better place. You can have a river view and admire the beauty of nature and tourist crowds. Lots of river boats park across the street. And it can be a bit noisy at night--if you are a light sleeper, choose the courtyard room. The nightclub next door does not affect your comfort. All rooms are clean, modest but comfortable, and the breakfast is really good. I enjoyed the staff--great at welcoming you and helping you with anything you need. Cable internet for free in your room.

Nice clean hotel in old town area
Nice clean hotel in old town area close to everything with excellent views to bratislava castle. Free internet usage also. Staff not friendly and parking is very expensive (27-59 euro) for one day because of the location in the old town area. However on the whole it is a nice place to stay if you dont have a car. If you do better to stay somewhere outside old town.

Park Inn
We did not realize when we booked, that this hotel is now a Park Inn. We chose this one because they have a pool but being Park Inn these things are extras. The location is great for visiting the old town and catching the Danube river cruise to Vienna.

Better than expected
Single guy from USA went to party. The maps I saw were vague so when I arrived I was THRILLED with the LOCATION. It's across the street from where the late night clubs are which are part the old town, so night or day you are where you want to be. They gave me a choice of rooms and so I got a view of the Danube. It's a modern building amongst old ones but the room was spotless (although the halways need new carpet) and comfortable and the staff was as helpful and respectful as can be. BTW, the women in this town are stunning, and I've lived in Hollywood ,South Beach, and NYC.
