Great value, friendly staff
For what I was paying, I had expected far less than this. The rooms are large, attractive, and very clean. The staff was uber-friendly. The location isn't perhaps ideal, but it was easy to take a taxi to the Waterfront.

perfect place for a nice cosy refreshing holiday!
My wife and I enjoyed the ambience of this exquisite hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are very friendly and indeed they conform to their motto of 'arrive as a guest and leave as a friend' :-) Good value for money!

Value for your $$$
We stayed 12 days in May (their offseason) at a lower rate. Two blocks from the Ocean. The US dollar has value in South Africa. Hotel has secured parking.

What a gem!
The Atlantic Affair was fantastic. Big clean room with an enormous balcony and a sitting room to boot. The staff are so incredibly friendly. They got my room ready early and on my second check in, they offered to let me check out very late because the room wasn't booked the next day. Having the kitchen amenities in the room and a mini bar that has room for storing your own food is great. I was so pleasantly surprised. I will definitely be back in the future! They are just wonderful here.

Having lived here for a year, I'd recommend Posticino (walking distance) on Main Road in Sea Point for incredible italian food, and the Famous Butcher's Grill in the cape town lodge for fantastic steaks and the best biltong around.

EXCELLENT!
It's not that the Atlantic Affair is clean, modern, spacious, and well located. This is true, and there are plenty of properties in Cape Town that meet this crieria. The best part about the Atlantic Affair are the people. All of them are very courteous, knowledgeable, and go the extra mile to ensure customer comfort. They had plenty of suggestions and booked a number of excursions for us. I spent two weeks at this property has had an amazing experience. The staff met my every need and its location in Sea Point is very nice, not far from the ocean, and a short, cheap ride from anywhere in the city. The included WiFi was a plus. If staying for a while, choose the room upgrade. The extra space and bacony view are well worth it.

Time-saving tip:
In Hotel
Contact the hotel before arrival and they can arrange a driver to meet you at the airport. This makes a hotel transfer after a long flight very easy.
