I really enjoyed my two days in Cape Town.
From the moment I entered this hotel, I was amazed at how efficient and polite the front desk staff was to me. They had my bags up in my room before I got there. They exchanged some of my large denomination Rand bills for some smaller denomination bills so that I could pay the cab drivers. The room was spacious and very clean; the bed was very comfortable,and the T.V. worked well. The small refrigerator was well stocked and the bathroom shower was very refreshing. The Steak Restaurant on the first floor of the hotel was first class and the breakfast on the 5th floor was equally as good. The location of the hotel coudn't have been more convenient for travel around the city.

This has been the third time that we have stayed at The Cape Town Lodge and I can recommend it to anybody who needs a top hotel at a very reasonable price. The personnel are very friendly and professional and checking into the hotel takes just a few minutes. The buffet breakfast that is served is tasteful and they have quite a variety available.

Adequate!
Standard rooms were small with no view at all - but adequate for short stay. Breakfast choice was okay but tables not cleared quickly so had to wait to sit down. Piano player was a nice touch though. Noisy air conditioner unit was replaced promptly. Good bar - one bartender great one not at all helpful. Overall a mixed bag but better value (and rooms) could be found in nearby hotel

Good Location, small rooms
The Hotel has a lot of rooms services, for check internet, business center, dinning room, pool, restaurant.... The breakfast is very good, and the service is lovely

Excellent location & service.
The location is just 2 blocks away Long Street (bars & Restaurants). Very close to downtown (museums & attractions). 5 min drive from waterfront. The rooms are just fine, but the staff is the friendliest you can find. Breakfast is variated and delicious as well as complete

An excellent Hotel, great location
An excellent Hotel, great location just 15 minutes walk from hotel to waterfront. Not advisable to go out alone at night mind. Very good restaurant serving excellent food. I found all of the staff so polite and extremely helpful, regardless of what your query or question was. 10/10 for the staff. I will certainly stay here again and recommend it to my friends.

Very friendly staff at all times.
Very friendly staff at all times. Rooms were very well appointed and modern. Location great for City and only 4 mins in a taxi to the waterfront. VERY highly recommended.

I would gladly return to this
I would gladly return to this hotel but only provided that they get rid of that piano player in the breakfast dining room. Soo stupid to not be able to have a nice and quiet breakfast. That ruined the whole stay at this hotel.
