Hassel free with a great front desk.
Our four day was marked by great service from the front desk and bar, and a fine breakfast. Cape Town is good and we were all over. Cabs back were no problem, about 50 Rand from the Waterfront. The location of the front door is a problem for cabs but the hotel has staff that handle it well. [...]is great. The bar's balcony is a hidden gem. The hop on hop off ticket is a good one.

Short drive from hotel
Eating at Balthazar on the waterfront is marvelous. High Tea at the Grace Hotel and a tour of table mountain are musts. Sunset at Camps Bay, Pepper or Blue restaurants and then go up the hill to the Codfather (fish by the inch) for dinner. Make sure the restaurant calls the cab back. The Waterfront has security at their cab circle.

It was a great stay, very close to many sites in Cape Town. Our only complaint was the lack of free wireless. Guests are given a 30-minute voucher, and have to pay for internet access beyond that.

Ideally situated in the heart of Capetown this hotel had everything a visitor needed for a fantastically reasonable price, including an excellent Full breakfast. Our room was quite small but adequate and extremely well set out, excellent for one night. Presumably they have bigger rooms if you want to stay longer. The staff were extremely helpfull and friendly. Would warmly recommend.

We had a great stay. The hotel
We had a great stay. The hotel could not have been in a better position, unless you want to stay at the waterfront. The service was great, and any issues were rectified quickly. Note. it is in a mall, so a taxi driver needs to know the closest side street. Excellent value with a good breakfast. Better than its 3 star rating.

Triple billing
The stay was good but so far I have been billed three times for the same stay. Once by Orbitx and twice by Holiday Inn. Orbitz was no help in clearing up the billing issue. Stay away from both of these businesses unless you have unlimited money.

Hotel needs a lift from the parking
Hotel needs a lift from the parking garage up to the rooms so luggage does not have to be carried up the stairs. Internet access is way too expensive to consider purchasing.
