The public areas all have Wi-Fi access and there is a business centre for guest use and conference facilities. At the back of the hotel is an outdoor Pool terrace with plenty of sun loungers and seating and drinks and food can be ordered during the day. An outstanding hotel for guests wanting to stay next to the airport. (AHJ 0209) A large purpose built 6 storey modern building painted white and cream and with a steel awning covering the hotel entrance. Situated next to Johannesburg airport and within the Emporers Palace and Casino complex, the Peermont Metcourt is 2 minutes by car from the airport and close to the main motorway connecting you to Johannesburg's suburbs.

These are really excellent 3* rooms and would meet good 4* standards in any market. These are bright, colourful and very slick rooms with incredibly comfortable beds. Each room has a writing desk with the design classic Panton chair, separate lounge chair, internet access and flat screen TVs offering satellite channels and pay per view entertainment. The rooms also have laptop safes, tea and coffee making facilities as well as stylish open plan bathroom separated only by glass doors and a curtain.

Perfect for what we needed

This was just a near-airport stopover for us and it was convenient and easy. Being located next to the casino was a plus in terms of late night food upon arrival. We arrived at 7pm and left at 5am, and the shuttle service was perfect.

Joburg visit

Booked my room two weeks prior to travel, requesting non-smoking. When I arrived they said they did not have any non-smoking availalbe. All my clothes and luggage ended up smelling like smoke.
