Very impressed with the hotel (one night stay, Feb 2011). Very modern, comfortable, updated rooms with plenty of space, with terrific view. Great location right on the beach (boardwalk with restaurants was about 25 min walk away). The hotel restaurant was delicious, the staff was warm and welcoming, and the pool area was picture-perfect. Recommended!

The Hotel is on the sea front but away from the city - c 5kms. It is however easy to find from the airport. The hotel is new and the rooms are lovely. The bar area is comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful.

A very attractive suite complex with breathtaking views of the sea. Ideal for travellers wanting the option to cook their own meals in the suite or for families. There is plenty of free parking for guests and there is a games room and childrens programme. There is also a very nice outdoor pool with sunbathing area. (AHJ 0807) Apartment complex in style the Brookes Hill Suites is a series of apartment blocks. Situated on Brookes Hill with views of the Indian Ocean and Port Elizabeth shoreline, the Brookes Hill Suites complex has is right next to the beaches and main tourist attractions of the city.

Description
The hotel also has a small gym, outdoor swimming pool with sun-beds and chairs. Meeting rooms and fax and photocopying facilities are also available at the hotel. There is also a sundowner bar. Parking is free. (AHJ0109) Typical of the Citylodge brand the hotel is a modern brown brick building just 3 storeys high. Brilliantly located opposite Humewood Beach and overlooking the Indian Ocean, the Citylodge is situated in the middle of Port Elizabeth within walking distance of many restaurants, 500m from the Oceanarium and Boardwalk casino and entertainment area. The hotel is 10 minutes from the Port Elizabeth Airport.

There are a also tennis courts. A good family friendly hotel close to the beach. (AHJ 07/08) The hotel comprises of four accommodation wings which enclose large landscaped gardens with a swimming pool. Located just a couple of km's south of the Port Elizabeth city beaches and next to beautiful Summerstrand beaches.

It is a beautiful hotel in a good location. The meals were excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. I will certainly use it again.
Description
This is a really welcoming hotel in the centre of the city but just a stones throw from the beach. The rooms are good and the restaurant has lots of character. The hotel has secure parking, an internet cafe and a lovely small outdoor swimming pool with wood sundeck,loungers and sun umbrellas. (AHJ 0608) A pleasant looking hotel made mostly out of timber, it is just two storeys tall and has a light green roof. Situated high up on Brooks Hill Drive overlooking Kings beach and Algoa Bay and opposite the Bayworld Oceanrium, the Kelway is a short 5 minute drive to the airport and within walking distance of the beach and nearby shops.

This small hotel has everything one could need. I stayed for a week with breakfast included and found it to be a great value for the money. The rustic log cabin look continues into the large dining area, 2-story bar and sunny deck with a great ocean view. Although my bathroom was very small, it was clean as was the room. The food (both the buffet and the a la carte) was surprisingly good for the size of the hotel. The wifi is fast and free. Free and plentiful car parking. I would definitely stay here again.

Description
An attractive lodge with a good size outdoor pool and a small garden at the rear of the building. There is a lounge with sofas where guests can watch the large flat screen TV or relax on the outdoor terrace area. A good place to stay if guests want a comfortable base close to town and a more personal welcome at check in. A converted house this is now a very pleasant lodge all on ground floor level. In between the Summerstrand area and the centre of town, Al Beit it is in a quiet residential area and within walking distance to the beach. The centre of town is a 3 minute drive and the airport just 10 minutes away.

The Pollards Inn Hotel which is the main hotel building at Kwantu, also has a 24hr business centre for those wanting to catch up on work as well as a touch farm, herb garden, sporting facilities such as tennis courts and a cricket field, and an entertainment room nearby. On the reserve you can relax at the main lodge restaurant overlooking a watering hole and enjoy traditional African mouthwatering cuisine with a touch of spice. Luxury accommodation to suit your style is available in either the hotel named after Pollards INN or one of the 5 lodges. The reserve itself has rolling hills, attractive landscape and is home to the Big 5 as well as hundreds of birds and other South African wildlife. There is no malaria at the reserve and it is a very child friendly property. Kwantu is spread out over several acres with the main reception area attached to the 5* Pollards Inn hotel. Existing buildings from Sidbury village, like the church, remain in tact from the 1820's and there is a large area put aside for farm land. The main lodge is a couple of hundred metres from reception. The Private Game Reserve is located on the legendary Sidbury Plains, in the heart of Frontier Country, along the banks of the Bushman?s river - a mere hour?s drive from Nelson Mandela Bay Port Elizabeth and next to Addo Elephant Park.

Over priced for the facilities and location, it would have been cheaper to just arrive then book in advance. Location was also right under the airport approach, resulting in a 4am wake up call each morning.
