We truly enjoyed our stay at the Flower Tourist hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and comfortable, and we loved the location. We felt very secure in this area and loved the french pastries down the street.

Great Location! Convenient and Comfy!
This hotel was in a great location! Just down the road from a huge department store, the train station and Airport Bus #6002 (which departs every 15 minutes). The rooms in general were clean, only the duvet was questionable - I suggest bringing your own sheets. Be advised you may get a smoking room even if you did request a non-smoking room. The staff was friendly and helpful despite the limited English. They allowed me to store my bags for a week while I traveled around. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and will return. It was exceptionally good value for the money.

Time-saving tip:
In Hotel
Addresses are hard to find in Korea, the buildings aren't consistently numbered and many shops or small hotels are off the beaten path. On your outings, take with you a business card from the hotel where you're staying. On the back of the card there is usually a map you can give to cab drivers, showing them how to get to your hotel. This saved both time and money.

Good Location, Great Value for the Money
Flower Hotel was centrally located, convenient to transportation, airport transfer and shopping. The hotel is on subway line 1 which went to many sites of interest; I had to make very few transfers. Besides normal wear and tear, the hotel was clean and comfortable with ambient floor heating (ondol) and in some cases heated mattress pads. The staff, for the most part, understood English and was kind - allowing me to store luggage for a week while I traveled outside of Seoul. The only possible drawback is the noise from traffic - the double windows were not noise-proof but this didn't stop me from sleeping well. Be aware that if you request a non-smoking room, you may be given you a smoking room, just sort it out with the staff.

Money-saving tip:
Not Applicable
(1) Be sure to carry the hotel's business card, on the back of which is a map with directions to the hotel. This was indispensable, saving both time and money when taking a taxi or bus. (2) Get a T-Money card it will save you money on the subway and can be used to pay for buses, taxis and purchase items. If you are a foreigner visiting 2011-2012, you can get one free at the tourist information desk in Incheon airport, just add value to the card. (3) For 2011-2012, if you are a foreign visitor, you can travel free between Seoul and Gyeongju, Jeonju and Busan, you will have to show your passport; google "free shuttle bus visit Korea Year" for details.

Good place for the pricing
The hotel was only a five minute walk from Cheongngyagni Station. The exterior of the building might not look too appealing; however, it was clean inside. The walls are of lovely flower wallpapers. The room is bit small but its Korea, space is limited in the busy city. The room was very clean. I love how the room was heated through the wood floor. Walking barefooted felt nice, although we were supposed to wear slippers that were provided. The amenities included a large plasma TV, desktop computer, hair dryer, hygiene products to skin care and hair care. Air condition was available but we didn't use it because the weather was cold. Very neat and clean. Only things I didn't like was the extra firm mattress and the windows don't open completely... there were lots of restaurants and clothing stores just a few steps away.

Hotel is good based on location
Hotel is good based on location and price. From the airport, there's an Airport Limousine bus that can take you straight to the road in Chongnyangni where the hotel is located and only about 10 minutes walk to the hotel. Bus fare is only Korean Won 10,000 and much cheaper than the taxi fare.

Positive: good location-about
Positive: good location-about 5 min walk from Cheongnyangi metro, train, and bus stations; clean bedrooms and bathrooms; good hot water and heating systems; each room had a big wall-mounted plasma TV and a desktop with a very good broadband internet connection. Negative: Smallist bedroom and bathroom (we booked 3 rooms, a friend and I who are petite shared one of the larger rooms and it was barely big enough for us). The hotel do not actually provide in-hotel laundry service despite it being listed as one of the hotel's facilities (it took 2.5 days to get my pairs of jeans laundered out of the hotel). The staff speak very little English. Practice your phrasebook Korean if using this hotel. If you speak Mandarin, they will be able to provide a translator over the phone.

Let me start from the good points
Let me start from the good points of the hotel: 1. Very cheap price (about £10 for a double bed room) with reasonable facilities 2. Superb location - in the central Seoul, and only 5 mins walk away from the underground. Also, there are many nice and cheap restaurants along the way. 3. Helpful and friendly staff. They speak good enough English. The respects that we are not very satisfied with: 1. There was no extra sheet between the duvet and the bedding sheet, so we kept some clothes on when sleeping, just in case... 2. The room was very small and dim. However, given the money paid, certain degree of unsatisfaction were kind of expected. Anyway, if you are short of cash and not fussy, Flower would be a wonderful choice for you.

Freaking awesome. The place does
Freaking awesome. The place does look a little run-down, but it's quiet, clean, well stocked with every room having a pc with Internet and a plasma screen tv. The front room service is top notch, and it is relatively easy to find and five minutes by foot to the local train station.

We rented two twin rooms on 12
We rented two twin rooms on 12 December, 2010. Our family consist of elderly and children. They were all very happy spending a night over. Eagerly asking to be extended but we already had our flight ticket. Over all hotel staff are very friendly, can speak Mandarin and also pretty well English. Had assisted us in many many ways. Shall recomends to my friends back at malaysia. My son said this hotel is the best among so many hotel that we stay during our holiday at Korea. We have a very happy day staying there so hope the same to other too.

This hotel comes with big lcd
This hotel comes with big lcd tv, computer with internet access, soft bed...just the hot water is not function very well sometimes. I make a complaint in the front desk, and they ask technician to solve it the next day. The distance from cheongnangyi subway exit3 to hotel is a bit far, about 15 minutes walk. But along the way u may stop by to do shopping. Will recommend for anyone with tight budget.
