Hotel Victoria Seoul

Noisy caused by discoteque downstrait . dirty shower room and very old tower.

Room was okay value for the money considering the other options that were available in Seoul. Very near a subway station and about a 20 minute ride from many tourist areas downtown. However, if you are going in the summer expect it to be hot. They only operate the A/C from 6pm to 9am, and even then it barely works, our room never dipped below 26 degrees C even in the middle of the night.

Use Airport express to Seoul station, then use line 4 to Miasamgori, come out at exit 3, go straight, the hotel is just opposite E-mart. Outside the hotel lift have free plain water to refill. Not far if use subway to city area.

Hotel room has mosquitos,very basic decor and old furniture/towels.staff is ok,location is fine,near Misamqueri subway station.but don't go there,pay a little more you can find much better hotel in town.the rating [...] is misleading!

Best price in expensive Seoul...excellent location, 2 minute walk to subway station (Mia samgeori)Blue line #4. Exit # 3 and walk straight for 2 minutes, hotel on your left. Hotel and furnishings are a little outdated but for under $100 it's unbeatable. Staff was very helpful and spoke good english. Only complaint was that they advertise free WIFI which was not the case but they will provide you with a LAN cable for free internet in the room should you bring a laptop. Bonus was the whirlpool tub that proved to be usefull after a 12 hour day of sight seeing. All and all this was an excellent hotel and I will stay there again.

An excellent hotel with good location. My friend, my sister and me stayed there for 6 nights. We were given a room with one double bed and one single bed. Is a very spacious room.. And clean too. We stayed at the 8th floor. For the price that we paid for, this is really above our expectation!!! The location is fantastic, with the Emart just opp and the subway is just a few mins walk fr the hotel. Emart is a good place to shop for any things u need, they sell everythings and price is cheaper compared to other big dept store.. We can find lots of local restaurants nearby too. Important: when u take the airport bus u will alight at the busstop which can see a Mc Donald opp. Walk towards the Mc and then walk straight up (against traffic) Is about 5-6mins walk from the Mc to the hotel. Korea is a green country, in spring and autum u need to open the window for fresh air. Will stay at hotel Victoria again.

From the descriptions of the Hotel Victoria, I was a bit apprehensive: I thought it was going to be far removed from the city and have shoddy furnishings. Thankfully, these impressions did not mirror reality. The hotel was very close to both airport bus and metro stations, giving easy access to the city. The front desk staff spoke English and were helpful and friendly. The furnishing were okay, not 5 star or anything, but definitely clean, sufficient, and efficient. I have no complaints!

The Hotel is easy to find and close to facilities, The room size is comfortable. The staff is willing to help though struggling with English. However their English knowledge is far better than the shop assistants in the street. The power adaptor borrowing is a good idea but limited to certain country layouts. No toothpaste is provided so you either come with check-in luggages or purchase it here. The main problem in the hotel is that for high level rooms (10th floor) at "peak" hour, hot water supply is insufficient - water actually stops if tap is turned to fully hot. No comments about the food since I did not try it (seems cheaper outside). Overall, it is reasonable for the price.

The hotel receptionist booked a taxi for me to the airport, but the actual fare was much higher than the receptionist said to me (more than 80,000 Koren wons). The fare was counted by the taxi metric system and included the highway payment. So, it is better to make clearly to the driver and to the hotel receptionist about the confirmed fare to airport. The receptionists had very little English, so it is safer to ask in other places again and again to confirm the information you had and needed for.

The large clean rooms allowed for a comfortable stay in Seoul. The location was easy to get to being close to a large subway station and airport bus stop, as others have said. Very good value compared with other hotels in the area. Our room was on the 8th floor and was quite modern, although the bathroom was a little on the dated side.Would be happy to recommend to others.
