Major multi-million dollar renovation has just been completed and previously known Itaewon hotel is transformed into a boutique hotel, which locates in Seoul, especially in the Itaewon Shopping District, right under the slope of the NamSan Mountain.
Location
The location of IP Boutique Hotel is at a driving distance of 1 HR from the Incheon International Airport. Airport limousine bus is operating every 15 minutes and the hotel is at a distance of 15 minutes from the Seoul City Hall and Myundong by car.The structure stands next to Han River providing both river view and mountain view of the natural wonders around the hotel.
US Army, 54 embassies made the Itaewon as the global village in Seoul.

Great location, staff spoke great English
Smallish room, but very clean. The staff at the front desk spoke great English and were very helpful finding good restaurants, etc. in the area. The Incheon Airport bus stop is right in front of the hotel, and the subway is only a short walk away. Tons of great bars and Korean and International restaurants right outside the front door. You can comfortably and safely walk everywhere.

you can take the subway to either of the airports in town (Gimpo or Incheon). This takes more time, but will save you some $$$.

Very spacious and conveniently located
The hotel was conveniently located to most attractions; although I would have chosen to stay in Myeongdong if I went again because it's closer to all the shopping. The room was really big for Asian standards. Free internet and English speaking front desk made my stay more comfortable. Overall, I would recommend if you're looking for good bang for your bucks.

Nice but small room Don't stay there if u r over 5'10 Good location and clean No pool No jacuzzy No sauna If you want those check out Hamilton hotel near by which has larger rooms but older hotel and not as cool as this one Lunch buffet was good

The design is art deco and the functionality is high-tech. Staff were helpful and warm, although the level of English is moderate. The room was clean and room service was very responsive and fast.

The comfortable airport bus (#6030) is only U.S. $14 per person. It takes roughly 70 minutes. A taxi costs U.S. $50 and takes 45 minutes.

Location is reasonable, 3 ~ 5 mins walk to subway. The design of the Lobby, Lift and the room was very good. Good service in front desk, I took overnight flight and arrived hotel at 7am and I just think of droping my bag and go around. And I did not request early check in but they give me the room! Just one thing if the bathroom can add some curtain will be better! other than that, is great!

Seoul is Fabulous!
The hotel is very unique - its in a great location! A short taxi trip to the markets, sightseeing and nightlife! The staff were super helpful in giving us directions and answering our questions - would for sure stay there again!

Fun,funky hotel
Fabulous boutique hotel. Small rooms but every comfort considered. Pleasant staff. Location close to may restaurants,coffee shops, and bars.

Accidental Traveler
IP Boutique mostly gimmick
I was looking forward to my stay at the IP Boutique hotel after reading about it in a few places. Yes, the design is over the top, but no amount of design was able to stop the leaky sink faucet, a shower that flooded the glass bathroom, an automated toilet that only stopped flushing with the old fashioned manual lever, disturbance from the noise of all the party-goers on the floor, and annoyance from the cigarette smoke you could smell from the adjacent rooms. I would probably stay elsewhere next time.

Note: Bathroom is a glass box
Note: Bathroom is a glass box and the lights are bright. When the bathroom lights are turned on, the whole room is illuminated which may disturb your room-mate. Other than that, quirky and modern ID and very dim corridors may appeal to some. Location is convenient with a minimarket just next door and subway a few minutes walk away. F&B and shopping are nearby too.
