ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS!!!!
Stayed here last weekend with my two sons , one a teeneger, other in his twenties, my husband, all sharing a room after we returned from a cruise. As soon as we got into the room, it looked small and shabby...DEFINATELY not what the pictures on the site portrayed....bathroom had 4 different mis-matched tiles and the paintwork was yellow, obviously hadnt been re-decorated in a while. WALLS ARE PAPER THIN!!!!!!...at 11.30PM our first night....couple in the room next door had loud noisy intercourse..was horrified as we were all awake and my teenage son could hear her moaning and groaning...rang down to reception, thinking they would go to the room to tell them to quieten it down.....nope, nothing happened so we had to endure this for about 30 minutes....between that and the noise of people banging doors, walking on tiles overhead in high heels after midnight, we hardly had any sleep at all.....then the next morning the couple next door started again, I hopped out of bed and went to reception to complain about the fact nothing was done the previous night to quieten them down and they were at it again in the next room, that the hotel was NOTHING like we expected from the pictures on the website, we got "upgraded"' from the first floor to the 7th floor...room was smaller than the room we left and the work top on the sink and counter was badly in need of changing...Our second night sleep was marginally better as the lift and doors slamming at all hours of the morning, and very noisy kids in the room next door..we got up Sunday morning and left immediately for the airport. I have stayed in many hotels but this was definetely the noisiest and most grotty one I have ever stayed in. Its supposed to be 3 stars, definately NOT 3 star...we wouldnt even shower there, as the towels were thin and hard, like sandpaper and for 4 of us in the room, we had TWO TOWELS!!!!!, one roll of toilet paper...UUUggggHHHH...HATED IT!!!!!...would have demanded my money back but it was non-refundable. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

I was well impressed with this apartment hotel.
I was well impressed with this apartment hotel. The metro stop is close by and Plaza Espana is a few blocks away. We enjoyed free Cava in the lobby, while we checked in and the staff was friendly. The rooms are clean and you’re next door to a few food markets to buy some food for cooking in the room's kitchen. The reception has complimentary cleaning materials, such as cloths, sponges and dish soap for the dirty dishes. Also, for a small deposit, which you get back once the items are returned you can get an iron and a key for the safe. The rooms are well furnished and I must say everything was great. Yes, the walls are a bit thin, because you can hear slight mumbling at times, but it really was not bad. I will definitely stay here again.

Great location
We stayed here for 4 nights in the middle of February, Great location, great friendly staff. The only problem was the walls are a bit thin, and you can hear a lot of whats going on in other rooms and the corridors. On the plus side, its only a 2 minute walk to the metro and right next door to a small supermarket. I will defiantly revisit this hotel.

Family break
We spent 5 nights on a post-Christmas break (myself, hubby and 10 year old daughter). Having the space was excellent, and the hotel location is good- a lovely residential area within a longish but very manageable walk to the centre and very close to the Metro. Nice breakfast, good facilities, big comfortable room, good, hot powerful showers. The kitchen area was a bonus. The only slight issue was that walls are thin and there is considerable noise coming in from other rooms, but this is the case in many hotels. I would happily stay there again,

Money-saving tip:

Have the menu del dia (day's menu) for a late lunch - it is superb value, around 10 euro for 3 courses in most restaurants served until around 4pm.

Great place to explore Barcelona from!
Arrived a bit frazzled and the desk staff made us feel at home! Even offered us a glass of local Cava! Room was clean and spacious with everything we could want. A small balcony looked into the middle of whole square block, gave a good idea of what life could be like in this neighborhood. Two blocks from metro, only 3 stops to Las Ramblas. Excellent restaurant was recommended just a few blocks away. Don't think you can go wrong here!

El Mediteranno fabulous menu, was about 11 euros for menu of the day including a glass of wine. The owner treated us to a coffee (for my friend) and vino tintoretto for me because we said Eric (front desk)had referred us!

Good choice for a budget travel
For a budget stay, this is a good choice. Great location, 3 min from Rocafort Station. I had a room on the second floor, it was large and bright. Big & confortable bed, large desk, a balcony with big window. The wifi connection worked in my room, but I don't know if it's available everywhere in the hotel. The furniture and bed cover were worn-out and I wouldn't say that the room was spotless clean (some dirt in the corners and dust under the bed). There was no carpet and the floor tile kept the room cold (but probably also cleaner than otherwise). The bathroom was large and clean, and apart from the hair dryer it had everything one would need. The walls are thin and you can hear the neighbors. Overall, good choice for a 2 star hotel if you can stand the frugal and worn out furniture and decoration. Also, the breakfast had a limited choice ( orange juice, coffee, yogurt, some cereals, eggs, jamon /ham. Tomatoes were the only veggies. There is a limited choice of fruits and bread/croissants). But there is a store right next to the hotel where you can buy food. Quite a few restaurants in the neighborhood.
