Location: Located in the heart of Eixample of Barcelona, and just one minute from the Temple of the Sagrada Familia.
Facilities: The 105 rooms, 4 of which are adapted for disabled guests. All rooms are equipped with water free minibar, safe, WIFI, TV and hairdryer. Cot free for children from 0 to 2 years (on request).
The hotel has 5 meeting rooms with capacity from 10 to 150 people equipped with all necessary media for holding any meeting or event. Facilities with a warm and cozy restaurant and a cafe with chill out area, large terrace on the top floor overlooking the Sagrada Familia, and parking for guests.
Transport: Close to the hotel you can find excellent transport links available. Metro Sagrada Familia.
Decoration: Enjoy a unique decoration and minimalist avant-garde style that will make your stay enjoyable. In the Ayre Hotel Rosellon we will make our customers feel like home, all them will be treated with good care.

Quiet room, good view, not good food
We're glad we paid extra for the Sagrada Familia view, since the non-view room we first booked had a depressing view. Our room was quiet and had an interesting view of men working on the spires during the day and of the church lit up at night. There are lots of cranes and scaffolds now, but it's still interesting. Even though the lady who served us tapas downstairs was very nice, the food wasn't very good at all. We never did make it inside the Sagrada Familia, since the lines were about 45 minutes long the 2 times we checked. This is not a very attractive part of Barcelona, but it would be a good base for the Sagrada Familia outside the busy summer season.

The Sagrada Familia is only about 5-7 minutes away, but avoid the summer season unless you want to stand in line for 45 minutes or more to get in.

Simple and modern
The hotel was just what we expected from reading the reviews. Located behind La Sagrada Familia, which is a great tourist attraction, it was very clean and modern. Staff was very courteous, eager to help. They let us print vouchers and boarding passes for free. Not sure if the amenities warrant a 4-star rating (no pools or gym or anything extra), and we noticed that they wouldn't replenish our shampoo or soaps unless we asked. However, it provided a nice, clean homebase during our Barcelona stay. Neighborhood felt very safe; the metro (which was awesome, btw) was a block away, 10 minute ride to the Gothic quarter and other atractions.

Long walk from hotel
Walk or take the metro to Gracia or West side of Eixample for the best restaurants; the ones near the hotel were pricey and looked like tourist traps. An exception was a hole-in-the-wall cafe 4-5 blocks away on one of the side streets, which had the best, cheapest bocadillos!

Great location, Lovely Staff
Location easy to reach all the main sights of Barcelona. The staff are so helpful - [...] gave us tips of where to go as soon as we arrive. [...] advised us on somewhere nice to eat after a long day. The AC in the rooms was excellent, this may sound funny but sometimes its not that good.
