Original and surprising, the Confortel Bel-Art is surrounded by the Sagrada Familia church, the Parque Guell and the Hospital Sant Pau, which make up the modernist triangle. The Alfons X Metro Station is 300 metres from the hotel. The contemporary hotel features fresh and original furnishings to add a touch of fun to your comfortable stay. Rooms have all the comforts and conveniences of home including wireless Internet access, free bottled water, flat-screen TV and air conditioning. The Confortel Bel-Art serves daily buffet breakfast at the cafe-restaurant. There is also a bar where guests can enjoy their favourite drink. On-site parking is available. There is free use of several computers in the lobby with wireless internet access.

Great hotel

Not downtown, but still pretty centric makes you fell like a local; food prices and quallity better than ramblas by far. Metro station is a couple of blocks away and walking distance to Sagrada Familia. Staff very friendly and helpfull. The only con is that there is no AC in spring, only heater, so we had to open the windows at night and it was very noicy even by European standarts. Room was nice and clean. Free WiFi Exellent value. Walk arround, talk to the locals and you'll get the best of Cataluña

Taps i vin (tapas and wine in English) exelllent food and wine very afordable. That's where the locals go to meet friends and eat or whatch a soccer game.

Shockingly expensive for what I got

The room was on the small side by European standards (tiny by North American). The bed was on wheels rolled a bit if you jumped on it which I found strange. The hotel in general seemed to be trying to save money. They didn't replace the towels everyday, the breakfast seemed to have been reheated from the previous day. The fruit had obviously been cut up a day or more previously and then been refrigerated. Note: do not eat the stuff that looks a bit like bacon. Also don't go in October or April the hotel can either do air-conditioning or heating but not both. When I arrived the weather had just turned cold and there was no heat for the first 2 days.

Good Hotel, Friendly Staff

I have stayed only 2 nights at the hotel, however I found the room to be big and comfortable, the bathrooms were clean, and the staff were helpful and nice. I would stay here again.

Visit Restaurante somoRRostro, the experience was absolutely amazing, located near barceloneta, very close to the artificial beach.

This hotel does not have the facilities

This hotel does not have the facilities of a four star hotel.No drinks except for water in the mini bar, a very very small soap which is not replaced in the next days, problems in hot water. In addition the leg of the bed was broken just by sitting on it. The rooms are small and needs refurbishment.

Value for money accomodation without

Value for money accomodation without too many frills.There are 3 free Internet computers in the Lobby which are very helpful.If you really need to be in the heart of things this may not be the Hotel for you.However,if you don't mind some walking and metro - then the price may attract.

not a 4 star hotel

not a 4 star hotel at all. expensive breakfast for its type, very small rooms, friendly staff but not helpful, safe box in the room did not work and was not replaced.

Für eine einzelne Nacht i.O.

Das Hotel hat wenig Charme, ist aber sauber und gut sowie ruhig gelegen. Für eine Nacht tiptop.
