- Central Twin Room
- Large comfortable exterior rooms. Large windows and high ceilings. Fitted out in a comfortable elegant style. Each room has is completely soundoproofed and has: 2 beds 2x1m, a 27" LDC TV; CD,DVD, MP3 player; Internation TV channels, I-Home, alarm clock, large desk,Safe able for a laptop computer,minibar (chargeable), high speed internet connection,large wardrobes, etc.
- Superior Twin Room
- The same standard of luxury, comfort and services as the Central rooms, but with additional space for enjoying your stay with us. All Executive rooms are located in the areas of the building with the most privileged views of the city. From: 27 sqm
- Loft Suite
- For those of you seeking the most exclusive views of the city monuments, we would suggest the Loft room, a spacious room measuring over 40 sqm. It has an special area to read or relax, a large bathroom with independent bathtub and shower, a panoramic television and a king size bed (2 x 2 mts). It also includes the same services as our other distinguished rooms, as well as a special welcome gift and the option of a late check-out.

- With the same details and services as the Superior rooms, a unique bright room thanks to its 5 large windows around the room giving an incredible panoramic view of the city. Great Staff
I was there for business and pleasure trip. At the last minute needed to add another person and it was no hassle. The staff were great about attending to needs and giving great instructions on how to get anywhere. Our only problem was climate control; the room was too warm. Breakfast was good but repetitive; dinner at the hotel was outstanding. In room frig contained water and and other non alcoholic drinks at no added cost. It was too cool to use the pool but the rooftop area was wonderful just to view the city!!!

enjoyable
We enjoyed the stay at the Grand Central along with the attention of the reception staff. however the restaurant service has a lot to be improved upon. Bookings commenced at 8.30pm onward. This is far to late for guests staying who prefer and earlier meal and bed ,fresh and ready for another days sight seeing.Once seated at 8.30pm we then waited until gone 9pm for our order to be taken, once received, the meal was very poor standard for a highly recommended restaurant. The staff and Reception were notified of this..

Romantic Weekend
Great location. Took bikes to beach which is 5 minutes. Right in the Gothic section so food and shopping was superb. Hotel has a pool bar on the roof with fantastic views of Barcelona. It was too cold to swim but we were able to lie out in the sun by the pool and read our books. Would go back in a heartbeat.

A fish restaurant, local, non tourist..called Barcelona. Great food and friendly staff. Need to book ahead and ask for directions...off the tourist path by the waterfront.

Great hotel in a great location
The hotel is located in a great location very close to the subway and touristy areas. It is a short walk to many different great restaurants around the area. The staff is really nice and helpful and the hotel is modern and clean. A great place to stay when in Barcelona!

good boutique hotel
- location was great, just behind the cathedral and adjacent to the up-coming Born district. - roof-top pool provided a extremely nice venue for a relaxed drink and dip in the evening. - reception was helpful in securing reservations in restaurants. - room was on the smaller side and double glazed windows were not very effective at protecting from street noise.

Interesting hotel w/ contemporary style
From check in to check out, very nice place. Location can't be beat if you like exploring and walking through the Barcelona streets with shops everywhere! The roof pool deck was amazing and expectingly busy on a warm summer day and afternoon.

A really Grand Hotel
The hotel was right in the middle of everything. Great restaurants all around. Hotel staff was great!!!! Everyone went out of their way to help.

Dark, but lovely
The hotel was centrally located within easy walking distance of the gothic quater, Born, Las Ramblas (horrible) and the lovely harbour and beach. The staff were really helpful. We had a loft room with extra bed. It had a big walk in shower with extra bath/shower next door. Huge main bed, plenty of storage. The mini bar is stocked with water, orange juice, coke and cava and is refilled each day free of charge! We also got 3 yummy mini muffins each day aswell - a lovely touch. The rooftop pool area is really cool with plenty of sunbeds - the pool itself was freezing but refreshing! The interior of the hotel is really dark - a bit strange but not a problem. Breakfast is pricey but buffet so you can fill up for the day. All in all a really good base for exploring lovely Barcelona.

The bus from the airport to the hotel was 5 euros each and drops you about a 10 min easy walk from the hotel - taxi is about 33 euros.

Unhappy in Barcelona

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had, and I would most definitely not recommend staying here, particularly for business. The room was very small, noisy, and more surprising without heat. The hotel staff, promptly responded by bringing us a portable heater fan, which was incredibly noisy. I didn't sleep. The staff was pretentious. Not to mention a 21 euro breakfast didn't even include hot food. In addition, internet access is not free as advertised, and there was no wireless available. The only good thing about this hotel is the pool on the roof, which is what the hotel is noted for. So maybe for swimming it is great, but for anything else, look elsewhere.
