H10 Casanova

Took my wife on our first anniversary and I have no bad words to say about this place. What a wonderful stay, the staff were brilliant and even upgraded us to a huge room! Use the spa it was amazing, the massage was so professional! Wonderful stay and I would stay there here again!

For those of us in the States, this hotel reminds me of a typical, Manhattan boutique hotel. The rooms are small, but not uncomfortable. It's got the typical bar with pretty chairs to look at, but not the best to sit in and the hustle and bustle of the city going 24-hours a day. If you're a light sleeper, I'd avoid it. But, it's a quick walk to La Rambla & subway, so getting around is easy. I would have given it 3.5 stars overall, but I can't do that. But, I am happy with the price, so I'm skewing high.

Very clean, modern rooms and lobby. About a 20 minute walk to all the action but nice to be a bit removed, very close to the metro. Hotel staff were helpful. Roof top patio is lovely. Good value.

Room was actually quite nice with sleek contemporary design and facing out to a lovely courtyard (we requested the quiet area). What took away from giving this a perfect score were in areas they really should not have missed. (1) No wash cloths given on the weekends...really? (2) Large "rainfall" shower head with an uncontrollable spray which will give your hair a good soaking whether you want it or not. (3) rusty ceiling in the bathroom. The front desk staff was lovely and quite helpful.

Had a wonderful stay from beginning to end. Hotel was clean and modern. Plenty of space, great balcony view. A short walk from La Ramblas and just enough distance away from the noise. My friend and I felt very safe. Hotel staff was very helpful from giving directions to making suggestions and even setting up dining reservations for us. Ask for Patricia, as she was very knowledgeable in the area and great places to eat. Would gladly stay again!!

My daughter and I spent 5 days at the H10 Casanova and it was great. The overall decor and feel of the hotel is modern and clean even though the exterior of the building is charming and older in line with the neighborhood. The amenities are above average, but if you have thick or long hair you probably want to bring your own hair dryer because the one provided isn't much better than air drying (I find that is typical for hotel-provided dryers in Europe). The location was great for walking or hopping on the metro and staff were helpful. Our room was on the main street so was noisy late into the evening but I had earplugs along so that wasn't a problem either. Most important, the beds were comfortable and that makes all the difference on vacation!

I just stayed in the hotel 1 night. the location was excelent in the middle of the tourist area. Quiet and very clean. The rooms are comfortable. Its like a boutique hotel. Only negative aspect was that the pillows were too hard.

We were there before a cruise vacation and only had 1 day to see the city. This hotel had a perfect location... could walk to Las Ramblas and gay nightlife. Staff spoke great English and were very courteous and prompt, they even let us check in a little early after our overnight flight!

I was at a major trade show and location was convenient; walking distance to many things and one block from Metro. Room was clean and well maintained. Free wired Internet in room required some manual DNS configuration but the front desk had written instructions on how to do this. Room and some hallway floors are wood and sound insolation isn't great so people walking/coming in and out of rooms could be disturbing. Nothing fanccy but quite functional.

Nach der ersten Nacht zur Straße hin (je nach Betrieb entsprechend laut) baten wir um ein Zimmer zum Innenhof. Nach dem Umzug (bestens organisiert) war es ruhig und toll. Zimmer mit super Bad und Bett. Die Lage ist hervorragend, zu Fuß ca. 10 min. zur Altstadt. Frühstück gibt es günstig gegenüber. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort wohnen.
