Superb location and personalized service in the heart of Barcelona
The Olivia Plaza Hotel, located in Catalua Square at the very heart of Barcelona, has all the big tourist attractions as well as the main financial district practically on its doorstep. The Nineteen Restaurant on the 10th floor has fine views across the historic quarter, including the cathedral, and beyond to the Mediterranean Sea. Conference facilities and a business center are available at the Olivia Plaza Hotel, as well as meeting and banqueting facilities and a bar/lounge area.

Cool, hip, and can still escape Placa Catalunya craze

I liked this hotel a lot. I stayed with a friend, and we were on the go most of our time. All we wanted was a place that was centrally located, good quality for the price, and had a helpful and reliable staff. This place nailed it. Free internet was hugely helpful. The breakfast, while not free, was delicious. But in Barcelona, your options are many for dining! The neighborhood gets a little crazy, but the hotel is quiet and calm and cool.

Fantastic Hotel!

Fantastic hotel. Wonderful staff. Amazing location! The only negative I would have to say is the bathroom door is a glass door. This was only an issue for my husband who prefers more "privacy."

Take the Aerobus from the airport to the hotel. Much cheaper than a taxi. Way easier than the metro / train. Aerobus drops you off practically in front of the hotel. Cannot say enough good things about this service. Made our trip so easy.

Idealer Ausgangspunkt um die Stadt zu entdecken.

Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen im Bett. Neben dem Sofa ist noch Platz für den fehlenden Salontisch.(Vielleicht vorhanden in den anderen Zimmern)Das Zimmer wäre dann auch gemütlicher. Das Morgenessen sollte in diesem Zimmerpreis inbegriffen sein.

Emplacement idéal

placé idéalement, en plein centre, cet hôtel est très calme, et d'autant plus quand on a la chance d'être dans une chambre qui donne à l'arrière, avec vue sur une cour et une partie de la ville. Magnifique!!!

Bon hotel, bon emplacement, tres joli,

Hotel très bien placé au centre , un peu bruyant si la chambre est du coté ville mais la vue est jolie ( mais c est supportable pour deux ou trois jours), sinon prendre une chambre qui donne sur la cour intérieure de l hotel ce sera plus calme, hotel assez design (la suite dans laquelle j ai résidé était très bien;), super cour intérieur , pour l apéro , ou etre un peu au calme c est parfait

angenehm aber kostspielig

Ausstattung, Lage, Personal, Sauberkeit: alles super!! Das spürt man im Preis! Schade, dass da nicht wenigstens das Frühstück inbegriffen war. Dieses kostet 19.00 € pro Tag / Person. Da stimmt dann das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis nicht mehr so ganz. Ansonsten sehr empfehlenswert! Übrigens auch sehr ruhige Zimmer, trotz der zentralen Lage direkt am Plaza Catalunya!

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Die Rambla runter bis zur Metro-Station "Liceu", dann links in die Seitengasse bis zur Kathedrale! Da ist ein super Tapas-Laden mit tollen Häppchen, an welchen man sich unbegrenzt vom Buffet bedienen kann, man zahlt dann pro gegessener Tapa 1.65 €. Top!!

Gerne wieder

Perfekte Lage für jegliche Aktivitäten in der Stadt. Hotel mit solider Grundleistung ohne grossen Firlifanz. Das Frühstück mit 19€/Person lohnt sich nicht. Man erhält überall in der Stadt für deutlich weniger ein leckeres Frühstück.

Sehr gutes Hotel, Zentral gelegen

Das Hotel ist sehr Zentral gelegen an der Placa Catalunya. Hard Rock Cafè, la Rambla, Metro, Linien Busse, Hop on Hop off Busse alles in wenigen geh Minuten erreichbar. Unser Zimmer war im Innenhof , sehr ruhig, sauber und mit Aussicht auf das Barri Gotic. Frühstück im Hotel war uns zu teuer, genug Möglichkeiten auf der Placa oder la Rambla.
