The hotel was typical of a 3* city centre hotel. The reception staff were very helpful and spoke english as well as spanish. It is situated about 20 minutes pleasant,level walk from the Guggenheim.

This hotel is perfect in so many ways - location, size and appointments in room, helpful staff,clean and spacious bathroom, and reasonable cost. Guggenheim is an easy walk and the elegant footbridge by Santiago Calatrava spanning the river is directly opposite the front door.

We wanted an hotel near the airport and with easy access to downtown Bilbao and the highway to San Sebastian. We got all three. You can almost walk to the terminal and parking was easy and free. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Brekafast was ok for US standard but much lower of what you find in a typical Spanish hotel.

This hotel is terrific. The room was extremely comfortable. The location was close to the major sites as well as public transport. The staff is very courteous. Good value for the cost. All in all, a wonderful stay. Would stay there again without a second thought.

The only thing I was disappointed with is the additional cost of the breakfast my second day stay. The first day was the start of my vacation the breakfast was included. The end of the vacation we stated again one night and we were told that the breakfast was not included.

Just three very short blocks from the train station, it was the perfect, yet quiet, location. An enjoyable walk to the museums, around town, to the Casco Viejo. I had no need to use Bilbao's efficient metro system. The only negative thing was that the breakfast cost 14 Euros, so I went out for breakfast. (I can't imagine what they served that would cost 14 Euros! But then again, I usually stay in hotels with free breakfasts.)

Si bien está a 20 minutos en subte del centro (metro a 2 minutos) el hotel es muy lindo y la ambientación muy moderna. Sin embargo fue el único hotel de todo el viaje que me cobraron Internet (10€ 24 hs.). También cuando lo contraté decia aparcamiento y lo cobraron. Por mi experiencia con [website] cuando el aparcamiento se paga dice con cargo. El resto muy recomendable.

El hotel necesita una renovacion en la moqueta pues está demasiado sucia. Tambien presenta un ligero descuido en el mobiliario que presenta las huellas del paso de los clientes, en concreto, una silla reparada por el hotel se nos cayó en los pies cuando le pusimos una chaqueta ligera de punto.
En las habitaciones triples caben cuatro personas sin problemas y no hay prácticamente ruido.

The staff, however, were next to useless. Each time I asked for something from the bar, I was told to go to the cafe next door, which had nothing to do with the hotel.

A reasonable stay. Reception on first night was not very friendly or efficient. Receptionist forgot to note our stay did include breakfast so after the second receipt presented to us to sign in the dining room I checked with front desk and discovered the error but that time there was an apologetic and efficient man on Reception. A basic hotel in good location.

A classy, grand old-fashioned hotel in the heart of Bilbao with large, comfortable well appointed room and bathroom. No tea or coffee making facilities in room. Private car parking. Nice balcony with our room and very good value overall. Staff friendly and helpful.

This is the perfect hotel for a visit to the Guggenheim or just a visit to the city. The staff was very helpful with information and made fantastic dinner recommendations. The rooms were spacious and well appointed down to the free bottled water. Overall an elegant gem at a reasonable price.

Lovely place close to the airport

This is a great place to stay if you have an early flight from Bilbao, as it is only five minutes from the airport. The hotel is in a beautiful setting at the top of a hill. It feels like a resort -- and does have a golf course. The fitness center and pool are open for only a few hours in the morning, a big drawback for us, as we arrived late and left early. As the hotel restaurant is the only one nearby, be prepared to wait until 9 pm for dinner. Or order lighter fare at the bar beginning at 8 pm.

We stayed at the hotel in order to be close to the airport for an early morning flight. I would return again and stay when we are in Bilbao. The setting is beautiful, the staff lovely and helpful, the room large, well-appointed and beautiful, bathroom fabulous. The value was unbeatable and well worth twice the price.

This recently opened hotel is located in the Miraflores residential area just 5 minutes walking from the old town, 500 metres from the Atxuri train station and just opposite the main entrance the bus stop. It is well connected with motorways to San Sebastian and some other interesting places.

Bel hôtel plutôt moderne, et surtout bien situé à 10 minutes à pied du guggenheim et de la vieille ville. Bon accueil, chambre agréable et calme mais un peu désuette et avec vue sur une cour sombre et sans charme.
