The staff were excellent - all spoke really good English and went out of their way to be helpful. The hotel lived up to all the expectations we had formed from the website - a really beautiful little hotel with a lovely renovation of a very old villa. Th crossover between old and new was tasteful and seamless. The room was a comfortable size for two, with an excellent bathroom. Gorgeous courtyard and balconies for outdoor relaxation and a comfortable foyer. Safe, secure lockup for storing luggage after checkout. The hotel is quiet - off the main roads, but within easy walking distance of good shops, landmarks and public transport to the Alhambra.

If I was going back to Granada, I would definitely stay at the Victoria again. It was a very good location for my husband and I. Our daughter is studying abroad in Granada this year, and it was close to her, plus close to many restaurants and shopping, and a 5 minute walk to catch the bus to the Alhambra. We really had no complaints. It does get loud at night, but you're right in town so we expected it, and really didn't find it a problem. We were so tired at the end of the day that nothing interfered with sleeping!
The hotel staff was very nice and helpful and did speak some English (at least enough to understand what we were asking)....we don't speak Spanish. The room was very modern and we found the beds to be very comfortable. Everything was very clean! There was a hairdryer in the bathroom. We asked about an iron but none were available...I think you would have to send your clothes out to be ironed. The wrinkles fell out pretty easily though. Also, no coffeepot in the room....but I guess that's more of an American amenity. Also, if you are used to using a washcloth when you shower/bathe, you might want to bring some from home, as none were provided. They did leave a complimentary sponge in the room one day, but it was after we had been there 2 or 3 days.

the staff spoke good English, were very nice and helpful. The rooms were very clean and nice. I didn't like the matress however, as it was one of those temperpedic ones, but everyone else did. The location was great, walking distance to all the sights. Very good deal.

Great gem in Granada

We were traveling with our adult son (3 people in our party) and were pleasantly surprised by the size of our room (which was a large suite with a kitchen and separate bedroom), the amenities in the kitchen and the wonderful bathroom. The decorations were modern and very tasteful. The common room in the hotel basement offered a large spacious area to sit and relax, drink coffee (provided from the machine) and watch TV (or a selection of DVD's) or use the guest laptop with the internet connection. The location is also very central to most attractions (minutes walk to the Cathedral) and on a main road where catching the bus or taxi was very easy. All the rooms in this hotel are suites and have been individually decorated. We strongly recommend this hotel and will certainly stay there if we ever go back to Granada.

Very good hotel at an excellent location, get rooms near the open courtyard. Wonderful ambiance in the evening. Hotel offers Valet Parking - came in handy with the Citroen Jumper - 9 passenger vehicle that we had for rental. Hotel does NOT offer ironing boards or irons in the rooms - you have to pay to get your clothes ironed, unless you are carrying your own. Breakfast buffet is good but at a price. We never got a chance to eat dinner in the Hotel restaurant that has live music and fantastic ambiance at night. The Alhambra is walking distance from the hotel and so is the old town - caution: uphill climb.

Ricavato in un palazzo molto vecchio ma caratteristico nel complesso molto pulito e centrale, a 20 min circa a piedi dall'Alhambra. Posizionato in una via abbastanza movimentata. Solo possibilità di parcheggi a pagamento (al giorno 17€ con convenzione alberghiera)

Quaint, convenient, comfortable and inexpensive

Excellent value for the small price, Princessa Ana is a little jewel located right off the beautiful promenade of Avenida de la Constitucion. The 'period' decor gives the feel of stepping back in time, and after visiting the Alhambra first, it seems appropriate. The staff was polite and professional, the room offered a balcony view of the beautiful lighted fountain and park across the street. The bathroom is spacious and modern and everything is clean.
We stayed on Christmas eve and on Christmas night, and enjoyed a memorable walk from the Princessa Ana , along the promenade, through parks and around the cathedral, up the hill to the Alhambra, and had lunch in a little place on Plaza Nueva.
If you are expecting the Sheraton or the Hilton, you're looking at the wrong place. But if you want an affordable hotel with NO disappointments, convenient location for walking and a great value -- Princess Ana is it! We would be pleased to stay there again.

Even though we were on the fourth floor the noise from the street was tremendous. No sleep!! However for location, for sightseeing and accessibility to all the best that Granada has to offer-fantastic.
Just stay up on the weekend-this was on a Friday night.

A very nice hotel right in the centre of Granada with very friendly staff. I highly recommend it you will get value for money.

The staff was helpful. The only problem was the extra charge for parking...18 euros per day but it was conveniently located across the street from the hotel. we had breakfast at the cafe on the corner of Madrid st and gran via...it was the. Best toast I've ever tasted!
Fresh orange juice is a must!
We had an easy time driving intro & out of the city.We walked to the cathedral for Mass and everywhere else including the Alhumbra. We were there for 3 days. Granada is a wonderful city!

Our family of four traveled through Andalusia by car and stayed 2 nights in Granada mainly to see the Alhambra. While this hotel was not close it is on a major street and relatively easy to navigate from and to. Unlike other 3-star hotels we stayed at there were no hair dryers or in-room wifi but otherwise the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Built in 1995 along a main road, the hotel was completely renovated in 2003 and comprises a total of 3 floors and two buildings. Guests may make use of the spacious foyer with lifts, hire safes, a currency exchange facility and a 24-hours reception. In addition there is a TV room and cozy bar. Also there is a car park (for an additional fee). The hotel also offers bar, concierge, conference facilities, doctor on call, dry cleaning services, wireless Internet, laundry service, non smoking rooms, restaurant, room service and pool. And the room amenities such as A/C, alarm clock, cable/ satellite TV, color TV, ensuite/ private bathroom, heating, in-room safe. NOTE: There's a compulsory gala New Years Eve dinner.

This hotel was a lovely surprise. The staff are friendly and the hotel is in a good location - whilst not right in the centre of Granda it is a nice 15 minute walk past some lovely historical buildings and nice bars.

Hotel antigüo pero espacioso, buena limpieza, bien climatizado, personal amable. No está cerca de Granada para ir a pie, hay que tener coche o utilizar taxi, en 5 minutos estás en la parte alta del Albayzin.

Very nice and clean hotel. In just a 20 min walk you are in the city centre (Cathedral), but you can take a bus too. Receptionists are very kind: they changed our room when we asked for a double bed instead of two single. Swimming pool is good, altohugh the bar there is everything but nice: expensive and warm beer. Parking is somehow expensive too (16,5€/day). Apart from this, I definetly would recommend this hotel for a brief vacation in Granada

Hard to find due to lots of construction but a very nice hotel. Excellent staff, very helpful. Room was very small but nicely decorated and furnished. Internet on TV. Good lighting for reading, etc. Parking cost and breakfast at reasonable prices. Room cost was VERY low and a great deal considering the quality.

Aside from this hotel being surrounded by construction making it nearly impossible to reach, the place was great. Spacious rooms, friendly staff, and a decent restaurant made our stay enjoyable.
Free parking would have been nice, but it was cheaper than any nearby garages.

This hotel was the best one of our two week stay in Spain. Extremely clean, updated, very nice and helpful staff. If you are driving a car, you will have to pay 15 euros a day to park your car in their very cramped parking garage. It is quite a LONG walk from the Alambra, but there is a bus that goes there nearby. Very nice exterior with a fountain. Had a kind sized bed, fridge, and a big window with a nice view. We would stay here again! Very good value for what you get!!!

The location is very convenient, near all the sights and the train station. Walk pretty much anywhere you want. Also close enough by taxi to airport. WIFI access could be better and easier, but available still. If you're a tourist or business-person looking for a good place to stay, this is a good choice.

On arrival, from near Marbella, we were unable to check in as it is the law to produce everyone's passport in order to stay in a Spanish hotel...a fact unknown to any of us. As we had all left them in our apartments, we had to drive back and get them...160k each way. The hotel also had 3 reservations for 2 rooms for us. I had only booked 2 rooms. That was sorted and we finally checked in with a really nice and helpful young man. The female clerk earlier wasn't the most friendly person that I have encountered. After all the earlier problems, we had a very nice stay and the male clerk managed to get us tickets, for the next morning, to visit Alhambra....well worth the visit.

Unusual and attractive hotel. on street parking available if you can find some. Good Breakfast. Nice Dining room. AC a little difficult to control. Spa great, a bit pricey unless you ask for a deal but do book ahead as they have huge coach parties which suddenly take all spaces. Taxi into Granada 6€ but dont book through hotel.

Alhambra's entry is a short 5 minute walk from alixares which is important as is better to buy the ticket in the early morning. People start doing the line at 7 am though alhambra opens at 8 am. They have buffet for the 3 meals at a good price. You can leave your bags there if you have check out and pick them up later. A taxi to the renfe station was 8 euros.

cute rooms. windows that open. plenty of parking. little fridges to cool drinks. The location is fantastic. it's about 50 - 75 yards to the Alhambra entrance. There's also a fantastic pizza joint just down the street. The pool is great as well. Rooms are shaped differently, but we had a great time staying there.
Just park the car and walk to the Alhambra. Also take the public bus straight into old town Granada for the sights.

Hotel and room were neat, clean, spacious, with a balcony. Nice. Altought guys in the reception werent always very helpful or nice. The hotel is conviniently located in between downtown and the Alhambra, so you can access either way in few minutes.
