A&H International Apartments Madrid

My experience was truly wonderful. The hotel is located just a block from the Prosperidad stop on the Madrid Metro, which was perfect. Plenty of shops in the area, including several bakeries, grocery stores and various banking offices. Not sure if Wi-Fi was offered, but the computer in the lobby was sufficient for a quick email check. The staff was very attentive, although a particular desk clerk was unaware of the post office located two blocks from the hotel. Overall a great experience.

The rooms are not new. They are OK and I would recommend for anyone who wants to see Real Madrid play. However the nearest metro is Prosperidad not as suggested elsewhere. It is easy to get to Tocha, Chamartin or the airport. Don't expect too much but staff really helpful....

The location and the state of the apartment were a complete shock. Although it was clean every thing was rundown or broken. The area was frankly scarey, and very dirty. We did not unpack. The next morning we found the Metro went into the centre of town and found another place to stay. We lost all the money we had paid upfront but if we wanted to sleep at all we had no choice. This is a lesson learned. do more research!!!!

the apartment was fine the table was to close to the entrance to the kitchen you could not cook anything if you tried no room it is to far away from anything if you like to use the underground it is fine we used taxis because you can not get a bus after 10pm from the city centre taxis are a rip of we were charged 37 euro to return to the airport from the apartment discrace and 33euro from city centre never again rip off

Very Decent hotel at a decent location. Easy access to metro and to the city centre. Close to the airport, just 20 min drive and connected well to the airport.

The hotel was easy to find because it is located 10 minutes walk from the ALSA bus station (Estación de Autobuses de Avenida de América) and 5 minutes walk from the Metro stop (Cruz del Rayo). The Metro ride to and from the airport is about 25 minutes. The outer door of the hotel is locked at all times with a buzz-in system. The room doors have turnkey entry. There are bolt locks which only seem to lock from the outside, but there is a chain on the inside. The bathroom is adequate. The kitchen is small, but it has all you need: mini-fridge, double stove, pots, pans, plates, and cutlery. Even little amenities like an ice tray and towel hook are included. My particular bedroom contained three twin beds, a futon, and a huge closet. There is locked storage within each room. The television has only one channel, a music station called "Kiss." The windows open if you like fresh air, or you can air condition the room instead. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. They have several brochures, including a map of the Metro stops, but strangely not a map of the city. I spoke to them in Spanish, so I do not know how fluent they are in English or other languages. The hotel is located a block from an internet cafe, and walking distance from a few cafes, restaurants, bars, and supermarkets. There was also a little park nearby, and a few museums. It is not very close to the city center (about a 20 minute Metro ride to the Sol station), but this makes the hotel quieter, safer, and cheaper. Overall I was impressed but not blown away.

I am taking an executive MBA program in Madrid and the hotel was great location and a bargain for the price. Everything I needed (micro wave, washing machine, refrigerator etc) was availabe, working and well maintained condition. Although the beds were small and a bit hard, for the price, you couldn't get too picky.

We stayed with two children and it was more than Ok for that price. It is close to the metro and Bus #9 going to the center, and has a couple of supermarkets nearby. The only problem we found were some noisy neighbours, but I guess this is normal everywhere.
