Hotel Barceló Torre Arias**** is located in Madrid, just a few minutes drive from the IFEMA Trade Fair. A four-star, functional, state-of-the-art hotel designed for both business and pleasure. Hotel in Madrid close to the Calle Alcalá (around nº 420).
Close to the airport and trade fair. Good transport links. Easy access both by car (M-40 and A-II) and public transport (Metro and EMT).
Hotel in Madrid offering the maximum comfort in rooms with 2.1 m beds, free safety deposit box, 24-hr room service, full bathroom and a 26 LCD flat-screen TV. Free ADSL and Wi-fi Internet throughout the hotel.

Nice hotel, poor location

Isolated location

The location was the worst problem, about 6 long blocks from the closest metro and this metro was one of the last stops on the line. There was nothing in the area for entertainment or food so we ended up eating in the hotel restaurant (food there was good). There were ants in the room as well. The décor was trying to be trendy, but failed to be useful, with a see-through bathroom door that does not shut. It was about 15 minutes from the airport (which is why we got the hotel) but I would not recommend it for anyone wishing to spend any amount of time in Madrid.

El hotel no cuenta con servico

El hotel no cuenta con servico de traslados al aeropuerto lo que sin duda encarece mucho el costo si lo comparas con otros hoteles de similar categoria y precio. cuando llegue al aeropuerto llame y me dijeron el nombre de la estacion mas cercana de metro y que estaba a 8 minutos caminando, pero la verdad es que fueron casi 20...el sitio es agradable y las habitaciones bonitas y comodas pero creo que se puede conseguir algo por el mismo precio que este mejor ubicado o que ofrezca el servicio de traslados al aeropuerto.

Muy buena experiencia en general.

Muy buena experiencia en general. Como puntos positivos quiero remarcar la limpieza, las instalaciones son bastante modernas, la cama de matrimonio es enorme (caben 4 personas comodamente) y ducha con hidromasaje. Como aspectos negativos: la localización, por la mañana entra luz en la habitación, en invierno no funciona el climatizador, no hay sábanas ni las típicas alpargatas para andar por la habitación que suele haber en un hotel de 4*. Referente a la localización, si vas en coche hay bastante sitio para aparcar y no es zona regulada. El servicio no lo puedo valorar porque no lo necesité, y el trato, tanto en la entrada y como en la salida, fue correcto.
