High Tech Madrid Aeropuerto

This was a perfect place to stay the night. We were looking to rest one night and fly out the next day and this filled the bill. The staff was very helpful and accomodating in every way. We highly recommend this hotel. Value was excellent. They picked us up at airport and transported us back in the morning seamlessly. Within walking a few blocks there were also several shops and restaurants that made it easy to get a variety of foods and things. We would definitely use this hotel again.

The picture on the advertisement for the hotel is not factual and is another hotel.1. The hotel is not 5 minutes from the hotel.2. If your flight is delayed you will not be guaranteed pickup or drop-off service and had to pay for taxi both ways and no execeptions made.3. The hotel is in a dumpy part of town.4. The hotel customer service is poor in general.5. The taxi drivers will rob you if not careful and had a good and bad experience.6. No continental breakfast.7. Internet access is dial-up speeds. SLOW!!!8. I will never go back to Madrid if I can have a say so in the matter. [*] WHAT A TERRIBLE exeperience.

We stayed here for an early morning flight. My kids loved the bunk beds. The bunk beds and proximity to Madrid airport were about the only good parts of the hotel. No lugage carts or staff to help with arrival. The pool was closed in mid-June. The parking was almost impossible. It was extremely difficult to find in the middle of a residential neighborhood. We ordered food for dinner, and the pizza came out wrong 1 hour later. Nice surprise, a night without dinner for my kids. Bottom line... I would find another place next time.

We stayed at 4 hotels this trip to Europe. High Tech was the most modern including a laptop computer, fancy multiport shower with tanning lights if desired, generous bathroom and room compared to the other Europe hotels. The free shuttle to the nearby Madrid airport was excellent: punctual, clean, friendly.

Very nice room with wired and wireless internet and a laptop computer provided in the room. Very short walk to the subway station. Airport shuttle was great. Staff was attentive.

The staff were great! The driver for the hotel was awesome! The hotel was like a 10 min drive from the airport. Also the hotel is only a 5 min walk from the metro ( green, line 5) and was only a 35-40 min metro ride to the Grand Via. The only reason I did not give this hotel a 5 star rating was because the food was bad! First, the "light breakfast" was unclear, I wasn't sure where or what it was. So, I ate the breakfast buffet which was gross. The meat was stale, eggs looked weird, fruit wasn't sweet. I stayed at 3 other hotels on this trip throughout Spain and this food was by far the worst. Then, the hotel tried to charge me 10.50 euros for the food! I showed them my reservation which said "free light breakfast," I thought that was what I had. In fact, it was not. I had the breakfast buffet. Needless to say it was annoying and unclear. In the end they waived the fee. I was glad since all I had was a glass of juice and coffee and small danish (I spat out the meat, cheese, and fruit). Overall, the hotel was nice and peaceful and clean. Close to the airport and metro and I would stay here again but make sure to not eat the breakfast or really any food here. Big plus, the wifi was great! Also, there was a laptop in my room and in the lobby which made searching on the web easy. Other hotels for the same star rating did not have very good wifi or charged for the internet.
