Traditional property having 45 nicely decorated rooms with comfy facilities, an eye for each detail and spotless. The hostal endeavor to offers guests friendly & warm service. Situated in the heart of Madrid, in the city centers shopping area and near the architectural landmarks and museums: Puerta del Sol, Palacio Real, Museo del Prado. Property offering many cultural and social activities, with easy access to public transport. Fantastic hotel for the price

The hotel has a fantastic location. Everything in central Madrid is within 15 - 20 minutes walk at most. The staff is very friendly, gentle and helpful. The rooms are small but very clean and tidy. The bathroom has lots of hot water and is spotless.

The hotel is perfectly located

The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Madrid. Hotel is good and people in reception are very nice and helpful. We would again stay at this hotel but if hotel management takes into consideration the only disadvantage of this hotel-terrible inflexible bed. Beds are really unconfortable, particularly the mattress which is like a wood. This is the real disadvantage to spend night but with the rest we are very much satisfied.

Rooms are very small. The security

Rooms are very small. The security isn't good as you have to hand your key (no card) in everytime you leave the building. No cable TV all Spanish channels. Towels very old. Breakfast wasn't included and what I paid for was awful and overpriced. Service was friendly and helpful and hotel in good location. However, they need to spend money on upgrading facilities.

4j au San Lorenzo

très très bien situé à 2 pas de Gran Via, station de métro et quartier animé genre champs elysées, de plus tout est faisable à pied car Madrid est assez petit. Accueil adorable mais il faut bien entendu parler espagnol ou anglais. Hotel et chambres très prropres, mais vieil immeuble pas insonorisé donc BOULES QUIES INDISPENSABLES (on le savait donc pas de problème). Bonne literie, nous avions une chambre côté cour (enfin cour débarras où le linge sèche, aucune vue) et avons pris le 1er jour le petit déj à l'hôtel, où la pièce n'a pas de vue non plus, c'était assez oppressant... Donc ne pas hésiter à aller prendre votre petit dej dans un café du quartier, il y en a plein. Madrid est une ville très agréable, vivante presque 24h sur 24, ils déjeunent à 15h et dînent à 22h et commencent à sortir à minuit/1h, un vrai jet lag ! Architectures et mabiances contrastées selon les quartiers, faîtes l'effort de parler espagnol et goûtez leurs spécialités et ils sont adorables, la phrase à ne pas prononcer c'est : est ce que vous parlez français?

excellent rapport qualite prix

Très bien situé au centre de Madrid à proximité des lieux touristiques et bénéficiant d'un calme salvateur, notre chambre donnant sur une cour. Bon confort, personnel aimable accueillant et serviable.
