Hotels in Playas de Palma, Mallorca island

I have to say that this was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to.The service was excellent,the rooms were spotless,the food was great.The views from the windows was to die for,the proximity to the ocean was across the street.Going into town on the public buses was a breeze.Everything was superb,can't say enough about the place except to say will be back !!!

Preis und Leistung waren 1a mit *** gutes Hotel alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich würde es wieder buchen.

Kaffee & Saft schmecken nicht. Die Tischzuteilung seitens der Kellner ist nervig, vor allem wenn einer der Kellner das als Machtspielchen betrachtet... Dafür sind die Rezeptionisten supernett. Im Großen und Ganzen wirkt alles sauber, aber wenn man genau hinschaut, sieht man doch, dass die Reinigungskraft vor lauter Eile manches übersieht. Es hält sich aber alles im Rahmen. Preis/Leistung gut.

The staff was very friendly, but didn't speak much English. We arrived on a very early flight and they let us check in several hours early. The food was ok, the dinner buffet was much better than the breakfast buffet. The room was very nice except the bathroom. The bathroom was kind of dirty. There is free wireless internet in the bar. Great location. Short walk to beach, shops, and restaurants, but still in a quiet area.

Un hôtel bien situé à quelques minutes à pied seulement de la plage et à quelques minutes d'une station service et d'un supermarché. L'intérieur de l'hôtel et les chambres sont d'un aspect un peu "Rustiques" voire un peu "vieillot". L'hôtel compense cependant avec un très bel extérieur. De très belle terrasses, un belle piscine extérieure avec bar, très fleurie, au milieu d'arbres et de palmiers. Chaises longues pour bronzer, terrain de tennis, ping-pong, il y a également une piscine intérieure (Bien qu'un peu "vieillotte"). Un très bon point, les chambres disposent d'une grande terrasse avec chaises et une petite table. Les petits déjeuner/brunch sont copieux est à volonté, et surtout sont servis jusqu'à 14h, très appréciable pour les "leve-tard". Je recommande donc cette hôtel pour les personnes qui ne sont pas gêné par le style un peu "rustique" des chambres. L'hôtel compense en effet par de très beaux espaces extérieurs avec beaucoup de services à disposition.

We booked a one bedroom apartment, sea view, half board. 31 August to 14th September. We paid £2285 for the apartment Which was cheaper than booking direct with IBEROSTAR. The hotel is 4Star but the room is a 3Star. we were very disappointed indeed and would NEVER return to the hotel as it took the edge off our Holiday. WE have stayed at 3Star hotels in Mallorca which were much better and less than half the price. There were no British people staying at the hotel and although we are British and it suited us, it would not be for everyone.

Reasonable hotel, Playa is not exactly a hot spot!

Although this hotel was very nice and clean, the staff was NOT welcoming at all. We managed to get absolutely NO SLEEP all night and earlier that day spoke to people that sais this was the 'German Side" of the island. Everyone was screaming down the halls (all night) and we heard screaming and 'singing' all night long in the streets. I read a feedback noting this same thing from another person, but assumed it was regarding a one time thing. I traveled alone w/ my two 17 year old daughters and when I went into the bar to ask for a menu, the waiter tossed it at me. He was clearly frustrated I didnt speak German or Spanish. We departed our Cruise early so when we checked in we asked if we could sit by the pool until our room was ready. No one was serving beverages so I walked next door to get a Nes-tea for us and when I came back a woman told me to leave the premesis. I tried to explain to her that we needed a drink and she said you'll have to take it to your room or leave. I told her we were waiting for our room and couldnt leave our luggage and go anywhere yet. We went inside the lobby to drink it. After that, she refused to wait on us. I British couple had drinks by the pool as did SEVERAL German people and they were not asked to leave. They openly drank them and the woman walked by several times. The British couple noticed we were treated different and said it was probably because we were American. In addition, 3 of us paid 4 euros for wifi and my code did not work. I asked for another code, and returned the original one and that one didnt work either. I explained my code didnt work and the person working the front desk said I had to pay for another. I asked him why and he stated the code not working was not his problem and I needed to give him more money. I said no and started to walk away and then he decided to give me a 3rd code - that one worked to my suprise. Bottom line, it is true that this hotel is located in the poplar German side of the Island and you either need to speak Spanish or German and you'll be greeted with more hospitality. The British people spoke German too and they watched as the waitress was more rude to us - we openly joked about it. He offered to get our stuff, we declined and just stuck it out. We ONLY stayed at this hotel because it was close to the airport and had to catch a 7 AM flight and wanted to be close to the airport w/ beach access. DONT FOOL YOURSELVES, The bums are everywhere the Africans are relentless to buy their junk and you cannot walk w/out some one in your face wanting money or asking to buy their stuff that they sell. Before our cruise we stayed in Palma at the Hotel Saratoga and it was amazing! 2 pools, staff was wonderful, clean, fabulous breakfast and WIFI was NEVER an issue. All three of us used one code!!! Your in the heart of the city and hands down it was way better than this place!

Alles war soweit super - nur haben wir nachts kaum ein Auge zugemacht! Es war superlaut durch andere Gäste! Ansonsten alles empfehlenswert!

When we checked in they said that we didnt have a reservation. Then tried to make us pay for it again. After a hour, they found our reservation and offered us free cocktails after we got settled in. The rooms are decent, the double bed is 2 singles put together which sucks if you wanna sleep with someone. I paid extra for breakfast and dinner and it wasnt need. You automatically get that service with any room. The hotel staff was ok and friendly. Overall the bed was the worst part of the trip.

the hotel is a little bit outdated but still offers air conditioning , adequate beds , good location close to fantastic beach shops clubs restaurants etc .buses 15 and 25 to palma just outside the hotel and so is bus 21 to the airport wich is just 15 minutes away .the pool is quite and adequate.the buffet for breakfast is good with a vaiety including fresh fruit .the dinner buffet is good on salads and fresh fruit but a let down on hot food . the reception staff are friendly specially JUAN who is very helpful .another minus point they dont supply enough towels .keep asking !

Incredible!! There are no non-smoking rooms in that hotel!! In my room, there was an horrible smell of tobacco and I couldn't change. Actually I had the feeling to sleep in an ashtray...

Service: Tip Top haben alles umgehend bekommen, was unser Herz begehrt hat. Zimmer: Klein aber fein mit relativ grossem Balkon. Badezimmer sind auch angenehm obwohl auch klein. Lage: Sehr gut. Zum Strand 10min Fussweg und zu den Party Attraktionen auch nicht mehr wie 12min Fussweg. Trotzdem hat man seine Ruhe, da das Hotel doch ein bisschen abseits des Trubels ist. Pool: sehr schöner, grosser und sauberer Pool. genügend Liegen vorhanden.

Excellent accomodations,great location. Couldn't have asked for more. The weather also was very accomodating.
