Excellent hotel
We have stayed at a number of 5 star hotels in Majorca & we can firmly recommend Port Adriano. Location, staff, food, spa are all excellent. We will return.

Tolles Haus mit einigen Minuspunkten
Der Empfang war sehr freundlich (allerdings haben wir diese Dame danach kaum mehr angetroffen), das Zimmer gross und sauber (wenn auch etwas altmodisch); ebenso das Badezimmer. Blick aufs Meer vom schönen Balkon. Da wir die ganze Woche einen Mietwagen hatten war die Lage des Hotels kein Problem - ohne Auto ist man dort verloren! Weit und breit nichts los .... Ausser einem Restaurant im Jachthafen - das ist aber wirklich gut. Der Service war am Pool/Restaurant sehr freundlich - allerdings eben etwas "spanisch" langsam. Die Leute an der Reception waren zum teil sehr unfreundlich und in keinster Weise hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist ganz ausgezeichnet, grosszügig und appetitlich. Sogar Champagner stand bereit - wenn man schon Lust darauf hatte. Der Spa ist nur etwas für Gäste mit guten Nerven .... Nachdem ich vier mal versucht habe eine Massage zu buchen und von der Reception nur die Mitteilung kam: " Sie müssen sich direkt an die Dame im Spa wenden .... " - die ist aber niemals da!!! - habe ich aufgegeben. Dasselbe ist einer Dame passiert, die versucht hat einen Friseurtermnin zu vereinbaren ... Der Pool ist nicht sehr gross, Liegebetten sind nur begrenzt verfügbar. Die ersten paar Tage waren praktisch kaum Kinder da - dann geht das. Nachdem dann viele Gäste mit Babies und kleinen Kinder angereist waren - war es am Pool z.T. halt nicht mehr wirklich erholsam. Der Strand (vor dem Felsen auf dem das Hotel steht) ist klein und nichts besonderes ....

Short drive from hotel
Essen oder Shopping sind in El Toro nicht möglich; aber nach Santa Ponca sind es nur ein paar Minuten mit dem Auto und dort gibt es viele schöne (und auch weniger schöne) Restaurants. Dort gibt es auch Geschäfte und man kann abends etwas herumflanieren. Am allerschönsten aber war es in Porto Portals !!!! Traumhafter Jachthafen und jede Menge ausgezeichneter Restaurants und Bars. Nur ca. 15 Min. mit dem Auto - unbedingt hingehen!! Ebenso muss ein Trip nach Palma drinliegen - wunderschön !!!

A éviter pendant travaux nouveau port
Cher, aucune compréhension du personnel, un bruit de dingue de 8h du matin à 18h... non stop.. grues, marteaux piqueurs, camions, etc... la totale... plus le nettoyage de la plage en même temps (bon çà c'est une bonne chose mais quand tout tombe en même temps !!!) A éviter donc... au moins jusqu'en 2012... Même pas un mot gentil, ou une bouteille dechampagne offerte pour "faire oublier", ou un repas offert... (car en prime il n'y a personne au restaurant le soir !!!). Bref nous sommes très très mal tombé... et quand c'est ainsi on commence à tout regarder dans le détail... Nous faisons un effort pour parler espagnol... rien à faire on vous parle en allemand, on dit bonjour en allemand (même après 1 semaine au petit déjeuner avec le même personnel, incapable de se souvenir de votre Numero de chambre (il y en a 68 !!!). Donc, les détails... le SPA n'est pas propre, les bords du jaccuzi (à eau froide !!) n'ont plus vu une brosse depuis des lustres... avec l'architecture, lorsque vous êtes sur votre balcon vous ne voyez que le bord en béton du balcon, aucune vue... bon j'arrête là... le petit déjeuner était très bien par contre...

Le petit restaurant du port Adriano est supre, les gens très gentil, le rapport qualité prix imbattable.. et comme il vaut mieux fuir l'hôtel....
