Located into the Santa Cruz district, in the historic centre of Seville city, probably one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and situated in the third patio of the Archbishop's Palace, under the shadow of the Giralda. The hotel is named after a very old spanish custom that is still preserved today. Seises is a derivation of the old spanish word "setza" meaning "sixteen".This was the number of young boys who were privileged to sing and dance, playing native instruments and wearing traditional costumes, on the main altar of the Cathedral in front of the blessed sacrament. They can still be seen on the special feast of Corpus Christi and the Immaculate Conception. Many artistic treasures were uncovered during the adaption of the XVI century palace into an hotel, resulting in a mixture of historic styles where the modern renovations surround archeological remains, a roman mosaic, an arabic well, tiles, floors and marble columns dating from the XVI century, wooden beams and paintings from the XVII century. Hotel has 42 rooms -each room has been individually designed, no two are alike- all of them fully equipped with bath room with hair dryer; air conditioning, TV,minibar, telephone and safe. There are also two meeting rooms, one cafeteria overlooking the inner garden and one restaurant. In the antique surroundings of the hotel dinning room, guests can enjoy their favorite dishes prepared in the tradition of Andalusia and the south of Spain.Dishes are carefully prepared and served by experienced personnel and they will always remain a part of your memory of Los Seises Hotel. Please note that access by car is limited in Seville's city center. However, guests staying in our property can reach the hotel by car with no restriction. To guarantee that you car is authorized to circulate in this area, please call the hotel before your arrival and let us know your number plate.

Great city - Seville

Hotel is almost impossible to find. Glad we took a taxi and turned in our car at the airport. Very small reception area. Rather dated but convenient to historic area.

Great Hotel, Great Location

Great location on a side street within walking distance of all the historical sites and restaurants. Hotel staff honestly told us not to take a certain tour because the money spent would not be worth it. They were correct as we walked everywhere and learned just as much as not more.

Lcation, location, location....

Key to this hotel is an exceptional location, solid comfort and value. Take a cab to get there because these streets are very narrow and winding and easy to get lost. Felt the staff was friendly. Food service is geared to a breakfast buffet that I thought was pricey for what we wanted. Therefore we didn't use. We decided to try dinner at the hotel and it was an interesting surprise. We were the only people there but it was excellent food. Service was primarily the bartender, plus a disinterested host/mgr and some other server that disappeared. Fortunately didn't hurt the dining experience. Thanks to a bored chef that we gave a chance to prepare a meal....Be aware the Cathedral likes to clank bells from their Tower and it definitely creates a bit of a noise factor with the hotel a short distance away. Don't consider this a highly modernized hotel, but very clean and quaint with some upgrades of what seems to be an old place.

Great location, friendly service

Los Seises was located right next to the Cathedral/La Giralda which are the main attractions in Seville. The staff was friendly and spoke English well enough. The room was clean and larger then I expected; we also had a very nice balcony. Overall, great value for the money.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

The hotel is right next to the Cathedral. There are plenty of good places to eat, so I would recommend skipping the hotel breakfast and going to one of the local cafes instead. There are many to choose from within a couple of minute walking distance.
