Hotel Interpalace is located in the tourist area of the Puerto de la Cruz, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, very close to several shops, restaurants, bars and pubs, as well as near the wonderful sandy beaches. 150 metres above sea level, it offers panoramic views of the whole northern coast of Tenerife, over the Atlantic Ocean, in the main tourist area of the northern part of the island. The coast of the "Valle de la Orotava", at the bottom of the Teide, has a mild climate all year round. The Puerto de la Cruz, a pioneer and leader of tourism in the Canary Islands, was declared "Of tourist interest" in 1955. It is a cosmopolitan city with wonderful spa installations such as the Costa de Martianez pool complex with its enormous artificial lake, work of the artist Cesar Manrique who was born in Lanzarote Island. I was not happy

I just arrived back from Tenerife yesterday.Unfortunatelly i am disappointed.This hotel is very far from the 4 star!!! It is so noise in 24/7. The carpet is so old everywhere in the building. The outside lamp,which is next to the balcony on the ground floor makes noise all night,I mentioned to the receptionists but they did not care at all,looks like they had the same issue before,because when I told to them they knew this problem already! I met with a died cockroach on the corridor!Was not nice feeling !!! THE WORST THING WAS,I LEFT £95 IN THE DRAWER,WHEN I CAME BACK TO THE ROOM THAT WAS ONLY £85 !!! STRANGE IS NOT IT !! Some good things:The food was good and plenty,the outside pool and the garden was nice and clean.

The hotel is a part of three-hotel resort in the "upper part" of the Town - shops (food, souvenirs, electronics) and bars as well as the botanic garden are located just next to the hotel. Easy access to the motorway - in case you want to rent a car and drive around. The town centre and the beaches are about 30 minutes walk away, half of it is stairs... easy going there, but quite an exercise coming back. Hotel itself is a in good condition, clean and modern facilities. Sea view or view of "El Teide". The hotel stuff was extremely helpful - changing money, renting a car, picking excursions - very very friendly at any time of day. Dinner and Breakfast are PLENTY. There was a themed food every night with Chinese/Mexican/Italian etc dishes. Entertainment in the evening was "OK", but it is pretty much the same all over the town, the hotel internal entertainers and the child clubs/mini disco were fantastic, our 5.5 year old loved it!

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

If you can - rent a car and go to "El Tide" - 100 km (70 miles) through fantastic landscapes to the peak of the highest mountain in Spain. There is also very helpful Tourist Information Office in the Old Customs House in the Harbour who can provide infos in English on where and how to go. DO NOT use the excursions offered by travel agencies on site - they will take you on the bus to a restaurant and back!

I have stayed in this hotel for a week in Puerto de la Cruz & I really enjoyed it. It is a great location, the balcony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the town centre is cca 10min walk on the stairs. The breakfast was good and plenty, same about the dinner. A few things did not work (i.e. lamp at the balcony and the lifts were kept getting lost between the floors). Some programs were on almost every day and the staff at reception was quite helpful. However the hotel has its own car park, it was closed and not goog reason provided for that, neither an explanation. Gotta park on the street, wasn't easy to find space. Overall I think it was a good value for Money.

Hôtel en ordre mais mal placé, allez au sud de l'île pour un meilleure climat.
