Royal Park Albatros Tenerife

Will everyone like the Royal Park Albatross? No. There are a few minus points that I shall quickly get out of the way. 1) From Reception to some of the rooms (and pool area) requires you negotiate a number of steps. Difficult for wheelchairs, prams and the disabled. 2) Not near a beach of any sort. 3) Limited shops etc. You really need a car. 4) The beds were VERY hard. 5) Restaurant served lovely meals, but the prices are a little high, and the portions a little small 6) The Hotel is in line with the flight path of Tenerife South’s Airport – So quite a lot of noise during the day. However taking all these points into account the RPA, comes out as a winner. Staff could not have been more helpful and polite. The rooms we had were very clean. The hotel is currently refurbishing the rooms, so they should be even better than the ones we had. The pool area was nice, again clean and well maintained. Proof of the hotel’s success is the number of guests that return each year. Overall little to complain about if you want an affordable, relaxing holiday. Well done Royal Park Albatross

The flat, the pool, the staff, the kitchen, the terrace, etc... everything was very nice. Now don't expect luxury or anything fancy, just very good services at very good prices.

Not a good hotel at all - Room was infested with insects - Room was not cleaned/serviced everyday (No clean towels & no clean bedding provided/changed daily) Hotel charged for a clean towel £1 per towel = £5 for a complete clean set. Our stay was supposed to be B&B on arrival we were told they would not be doing that and we had to pay for our breakfast everyday £7 each = £14 per day (we went out and bought food locally and it became self catering - as was far cheaper) Not the plan - We were very angry about this. Staff were pleasant enough but the company rules made them look like idiots and not very good to the customers. Hotel surroundings were OK - nice pool but that's about it. We will not be staying there again - We will not be recommending it to anyone!

First..as for question 3, I am still in travel mode and won't be home till next week. So I'll say no because I haven't gotten the card yet, but I assume it will be waiting for me when I get home. Now about the Albatros. Honestly it was lovely. The room surprized me. I was not expecting such a beautiful well decorated room. I did not get down to the resturant to try it but the wine bar in the lobby is very nice. The best part of the Albatros is the staff. The porter Eddy is a sweetie, always smiling and willing to help even if it is just helping me with my shopping up the stairs. The housekeeping staff were quick and perfect. If I had a complaint it would be one that the hotel could not do anything about it. The balconey I had did not get any sun. It was such a lovely balconey I would have loved laying out in the sun on it and enjoying it more. I will be returning to Tenerife and the Albatros next year.

Nice location except for being under the flightpath from the airport. Good rooms and facilities. Friendly and helpful staff.

appartement spacieux et très propre, équipement simple (TV/CD/DVD/micro-ondes, bouilloire, gril-pain, four et 4 plaques, frigo, sèche-cheveux, fer à repasser, étendage, meubles de terrasse) mais correct, hormis le canapé lit du living, sur lequel j'étais sensée dormir: matelas mousse, vieux et défoncé, petit, impossible d'y faire dormir un adulte, sauf exténué! Bref, j'ai rapatrié le matelas par terre dans la chambre, j'y ai couché un de mes enfants et nous avons dormi à trois dans la chambre! Surtout qu'effectivement, l'insonorisation est catastrophique! Vous "vivez" avec vos voisins, alors si vous voulez du calme absolu, cet hôtel n'est pas pour vous! Pas recommandé pour les personnes à mobilité réduite (âgées, handicapées ou poussette) car il y a beaucoup d'escaliers. J'ai apprécié que les services soient en option: repas (de la formule "all inclusive" à aucun repas), nettoyage (tous les jours ou une fois par semaine), etc. Linges de piscine, coffre-fort et accès wi-fi à payer en plus. Ravie qu'il n'y ait pas de climatisation (ventilateur au plafond). Joli jardin sec, arborisé. 2 bassins: une piscine entre 1,20m. et 2 m. de fond et une pataugeoire entre 40cm et 80cm de fond. Pas de toboggan dans les bassins. Environnement extérieur à l'hôtel (village et plage) sans charme, mais il y a beaucoup de choses à faire dans la région: ça vaut la peine de louer une voiture. Beaucoup d'activités pour les enfants. Accueil du personnel inégal: parfois le sentiment que je "dérangeais" la réception les rares fois que je les ai sollicités. Par contre, service impeccable au restaurant, très aimable avec les enfants. Plats bon marché mais pas très raffinés. Animations certains moments de la journée pour les enfants ou les adultes (jeux, mini spectacles de flamenco/magie/perroquets/etc. que les enfants ont adoré). Le personnel parle espagnol et anglais. Clientèle principalement anglaise. C'est la "course" aux chaises longues le matin à l'ouverture de la piscine: pathétique!

les lits sont inconfortables, surtout canapé lit, pas de plage; bruyant, propreté impécable ainsi que l'accueil.

Bon séjour en famille. Appart.confortable et spatieux pour 4 personnes. Bien situé pour les visites et rando. Le Personnel est trés agréable, (peu parlent Français) ayant fêté nos anniversaires à la date de notre séjour, une délicate attention (bouteille avec un petit mot) nous a ravi. La piscine et spa sont parfaits, mais pour trouver un transat dur dur...les gens les réservent de bonnes heures. Le Resto sert à toute heure (repas simples) tout en profitant de la piscine. Seul le service Wifi laisse à désirer... Je recommande donc cet hôtel ayant un trés bon rapport qualité prix.

Über den Rest zu schreiben bringt gar nichts. Wozu sollte man in so ein abgelegenes Hotel gehen, wenn nicht um erholsame Ferien zu machen? Dieses Hotel hat schon von der Konstruktion her niemals das Potenzial dazu! ES IST LAUT, von überall und der Fluglärm ist dabei noch die absolute Randerscheinung. Man hört praktisch alles von allen Nachbarn (ausser sie würden extreme Rücksicht nehmen), ob sie im Zimmer, im Bad oder draussen sind. Ganz egal. Schlafen somit eine Qual und die Betten machen's einem auch nicht leichter! Appartmentausstattung ist Glücksache, eine (freundliche und gute) Bedienung an der Rezeption auch. Zimmerreinigung alle paar Tage. Wifi nur in Lobby gratis, mehrheitlich seeeehr lahme Leitung.
