This aristocratic nineteenth century building is located in the heart of Valencia, near both the shopping district and historic area. The most centrally situated five-star hotel, near the high-speed train station (AVE), is housed in a refurbished palace and offers guests the best of contemporary Valencia: the historic city centre and the modern heart of the city. Romantic architecture, including an impressive hall and a marble staircase, has been reinterpreted in modern terms for the complete enjoyment of beautifully serene spaces.

A few days in Valencia
This is obviously a hotel of two halves depending on how deep you pocket is! Originally shown into a windowless box in the courtyard very dark and not very nice at all. After some discussion were moved to 4th floor with windows and privacy much better. Rooms on 1st and 2nd floors have high ceilings and are much grander for a price. Breakfasts when busy were in conference rooms and reverted to restuarant senzone when not so busy nicer! Breakfasts were wonderful and the choice could not be faulted. Staff very friendly and helpful, not all spoke English. Room service was variable were not very goodat taking away empty glasees and replacing them with fresh ones. Good location for all parts of city.

Casa Montana excellents Tapas and wines get ther at 1930 and noproblem getting a seat!

Excellent hotel chain; not best hotel
We stayed in the Hospes Alicante Hotel (Hospes Amérigo hotel) as well as the Hospes Valencia Hotel (Hospes Palau de la Mar). Our stay at Hospes Amérigo was so absolutely perfect including spa services, rooftop pool and jacuzzi, rooftop bartenders, room service, restaurants, friendly reception staff which raised the bar for Hospes Palau de la Mar. Hospes Palau de la Mar had less friendly staff and noisier rooms. Other than that, it is a GREAT hotel in a great location. I would definitely use and recommend this hotel chain - one of the BEST I have ever experienced in terms of quality and value!
