convient location near airport

location close to airport but isolated from restaurants,beach, etc. good for overnight stay, otherwise chose something closer to the beach(s) or town. limited offering in food choice. staff very friendly. i wouldn't rate it as being a 5 star, perhaps a 4.

Good airport hotel; very convenient

You can't beat the location as it is very near the airport and they offer a free shuttle. Staff are very friendly and helpful. As someone with bad knees who likes to exercise, I would have liked to see the 'modern' gym contain at least one elliptical and a working stairstepper. Food is okay, but not great.

There is not much around the hotel itself, but if you need any groceries/staples, there is a food mart just a few steps away from the hotel entrance.

Terrific, Quiet

Stayed one night. The Deluxe Room was perfect. Flower petals everywhere. Clean. Calm and quiet atmosphere, very close to airport. Pool is beautiful and calm. The in-house Chinese restaurant had the best Tofu I've ever had in my life, and that's saying a lot. The best! We are a gay couple - one local and one Expat. We were treated with respect, unlike some of the other good hotels we've stayed at in Sri Lanka that have issues with locals, etc.

Unbeatable location for the price

Having everything all in one place, i felt no desire to leave the lush 32 acre compound that the hotel rests on. The atmosphere was enough to entertain the active type as well as the relaxed type. All in one package, thanks Taj!
