Scandic Crown Rooms

- Our rooms are light and fresh. Most of them are refurbished in a Nordic style with wooden floor and comfortable beds. Some have bathtubs and the rest have showers. All rooms have an Internet connect. Single, twin or queen bed.
- Superior
- Our specially designed superior rooms are situated on the top floor. Every room has its own private balcony and a video, CD player and coffee/tea maker. The beds are queen-or twin size for best comfort.
- Suite
- Our suites are on 44 squared meters with wooden floors. The rooms are equipped with separate livingroom and bedroom, large bathroom with bathtub, minibar, desk and chair. Queen bed.

Not bad, but something missing
Stayed in hotel for one night only, so there things I can't give best comment. Positive: Hotel is in convenient location - just minutes to go from railway station and city center. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable enough. Continental breakfast with very good variety, options for special diets available. Negative: Hotels rooftop bar (Bobble bar ) was closed on night of my stay - SATURDAY, so if you plan to have nice little drink before bedtime you might have to take it in lobby / breakfast area . In the morning I noticed blody fingerprint smeared on hotel doors (secondary entrance). I reported it to reception and receptionist went away, as per my understanding, to take care of it. 2 hours later smear was still there. Tiny thing, but disgusting. Their toasters are impossible. No matter how hard you try one side will be burned, other not even warm (unless you flip it around in the middle of process)

This trip was business related. Hotel staff worked with me to ensure that my stay was comfortable. Room had 2 twin beds placed side by side. No air conditioning was provided but the climate was cool enough to not be uncomfortable. The breakfast buffet had hot and cold food items, as well as an assortment of fruit, breads, and beverages. The 8th floor contained a jacuzzi and weight room even though I did not have time to use either, they were never empty, which is a good thing. I thought it was interesting that your room key served as the mechanism to activate the lights in your room. Halls were very quiet and 5 elevators were available in the hotel for quick access to floors. Security measures in place that required use of your room key to access either your floor or the 8th floor jacuzzi area only. Parking accommodations in the basement garage.

Tranquilo, Brazilian restaurant. Very good food. Main floor, basement level, and outdoor cafe seating. Friendly staff.

Swe/Norge Travel
Nice but not great
Nice staff and fast service. Rooms were nice but not great. A little dirty plus not updated. The room window would not open more then 1 cm. Hot rooms with no cool air when i used the temp adjust. Best location. Shopping just down the street. Buss and train station right across the street. Busy when there are events going on in town. Across from the football stadium and could be a little loud.

Past the train station you will find many stores. If you turn right into town you will find many more stores. Watch out on Fri thru Sat. The town is very busy and people are out to shop and enjoy the cafes. great place to do more people watching. There is a lot of fashion within this city. Stop by Peak Performance very nice store with sports and golf wear.

Perus Scandic
Scandic Grown on hyvin tyypillinen Scandic hotelli eli tyyliltään melko pelkistetty, palvelut toimivat, huone siisti ja aamiainen hyvä. Ainoa miinus oli että hotelli sijaitsee juna-aseman vieressä ja vaikka olin 7. kerroksessa niin junien ja myös viereisen autotien äänet häiritsivät untani. Hotellilta käveli niin keskustaan kuin myös messukeskuksellekin nopeasti. Koska hinta-laatu suhde on hyvä, niin voisin yöpyä toistekin ja suositella muillekin vaikka mitään erityistä hotellissa ei ollut.
