Nice hotel. Seems to cater to families, as there were several with small children staying at the hotel. No hours posted for the exercise/sauna facilities, and they seemed to be locked when I tried to check them out.

The hotel has a city centre location in the harbour with a 300m walk to the central station. It was once a harbour warehouse. Exposed wooden beams have been retained, making every room unique. Most rooms offer a wonderful sea view. The hotel offers 24 hours service. Afternoon tea and coffee with home-baked cake is complimentary. Enjoy your breakfast on our water- side veranda in the summer. Some rooms with balconies and sea view. This is a great little hotel on a wharf. Very picturesque, lovely room, comfortable. They provide buffet supper as well as breakfast. WOW!!! It is in a location to conveniently see some great historical Swedish stuff.

This hotel is located on a harbor front. It's very relaxing to sit on the deck and hear the sounds of the water and birds and see the boats. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet is marvelous. They also offer complimentary dinner buffet which is lovely. You can be seated for breakfast or dinner out on the deck if you prefer. The location is perfect, only 5 minutes walk from the train station, and 7 minutes from Kalmar Castle. A lovely little town. Great stay!

The rooms need to be rebuilt, some new paint and so on, it felt old but not in a good way.

Nice Kitchenette, easy walk to the the castle. Good restaurant. The only negatige we had was the parking. Then again, we were there on a weekend when they had a live band in the park, right across the street. This is the place to stay if you are going to the castle. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Wonderful location, near the train station, the old city, and the main historic square. Within easy walking distance of major tourist sites, restaurants, and shopping.
Noisy at night, but that could have been due to classic automobile show in town.
