This is a business hotel and I found nothing to differentiate it. Except, perhaps, one of the Hotel Receptionists who appeared to be completely usless.
We stayed twice. The room at the front of the building was not so nice as the room facing west

Great hotel for staying in Kiruna!

Jarnvaghotellet is a great choise if you are staying overnight or a few days in Kiruna. The personnel of the hotel is friendly and always willing to serve the customer. In addition to what you find in larger hotel chains, you should try this hotel for the atmosphere. The building is well preserved from the old days but has all the modern conveniences. I found it amusing that the heating (very often needed that far north) was actually tripled, so you will never feel cold in this hotel. The room I was staying in was very large and comfortable with windows to the city and the railway.
The hotel is located conveniently on the station and near the north-south main road. Even though this is a station hotel, I was surprised I could hardly hear the trains passing by. If you wish to walk to the city center, it is just 2-3 minutes walk away. Definitely recommend this hotel!

very close to the train station. However, Kiruna center is not there. You must climb up for about 5-10 minutes, which is really a hard work in winter.
I would choose Scandic for its location or other hostels for there prices.
Not a bad hotel but won't be my first choice.
