The hotel did not have the room we booked and paid on Orbitz, they could not find the reservation although I showed them my confirmation letter.
They gave us a conference/meeting room, with a sofa bed (in very bad condition) I slept very bad, maybe a couple of hours and next day I was driving to Stockholm for 8 hours. In the morning they got the confirmation that I paid online, but a couple of days later when I checked my credit card online and found out that Radisson Malmo charged me once more, although they gave me a printed receipt of the online payment.
So briefly I was charged double for sleeping in a meeting room on a old sofa, the worst experience so far.

There was no safe box in the room.
The room that we stayed in, had no shower but bath tub. It was very high to get in and out.
Breakfast buffet was rich. Tripple glazing on windows was very good to avoid outside noise of the Malmö festival.
Ice machine on the coridor was a good facility.

Excellent location in Malmo. Close to the square with all the entertainment spots within walking distance. Not to mention within 3 minutes walking distance from the train station. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was excellent. The striking thing was how convenient the room was with ample power outlets. Wish all the Marriott and Hilton can learn from this place!

Great hotel with very courteous staff. Location was terrific, 5 minute walk from train station and close to lots of cafes and nice spots. Breakfast was really superb, also with very helpful staff. Room was on the large side, but faced the street which tended to get noisy at night with bar crowd. Front staff did give us the choice to stay in a quieter part, but we chose this location so it's not their fault. Checkout was smooth at 5am (!), with complimentary lattees to boot.

We had a marvelous stay at the Elite Hotel Savoy Malmo. Nice interiors, reception staff was very warm, friendly, courteous, pleasant , very helpful.. excellent service overall. Hotel is very reasonably priced and fully recommended.

The Savoy is very conveniently located opposite Malmo Railway Station. No need for taxis at all whilst we were in Malmo because of the central location - Copenhagen airport is only a short train journey away.
The hotel itself was good in a rather old fashioned way. We were not keen on the pub and it was very dark in there on the oneevening we popped in just for a drink.
On the plus side, the staff were very helpful - we went to trotting races one evening and one of the receptionists found out some information for us because his mum works there! Free internet access in the lobby.
There are tea/coffee making facilities in the room which was good;in the afternoons staff came round asking if you wanted the supplies replenished.
Breakfast was good but there only seemed to be pastries at the weekend! My one criticism of the dining room would be that staff did not clear breakfast tables quickly enough and cleaner started vacuuming before guests had finished breakfast.

It's not close to train station as introduction.
We walked a little bit far than we thought.
In general, it is good place for short stay.

A very extended breakfast every morning. Nice looking rooms.
Only negative is that every room concists of single beds. When you want a DOUBLE bed, you have to move them together, which is not ideal. But for that price, perhaps indeed investing in other beds and managing 2 different room setups is not very profitable.
Otherwise a perfect stay for me and my wife.

The Scandic Malmö City hotel has a great location in the city centre. The hotel is located by Malmö canal, a short walk from the city's best shopping area, popular restaurants and cafes. A little further away you'll find sea and sandy beaches in Ribersborg. With Malmö's close location to Denmark, a day trip across the Oresund Bridge is made easy. All hotel rooms have a kitchenette with a microwave and a fridge, or a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. There is also a lobby bar and a garage where you park your car safely at an extra cost.

This hotel is just outside the central area but has easy access across one busy road to to shops and parks and restaurants. It is relatively new but boring architecturally. The rooms are adequate except for the lack of a second chair and a "wet room" which was not well drained. The breakfast was excellent. and the staff very hepful

Description
This is a charming and centrally located property which was voted Best Hotel in Malmo in 2003 & 2004. It offers the chance to stay in a 700-year old historic building whilst being near transport links and restaurants. The hotel also offers free wireless internet access throughout. This is a very traditional building of the area with history dating back to the 13th century, both Danish and Swedish Kings have visited this remarkable building when it functioned as the residence of the governor of Malmo. Centrally located and only a stone's throw from the pedestrian shopping streets, around the corner from Stortorget and near Malmo train station where there are frequent trains to Stockholm, the rest of Sweden, Kastrup Airport, and to Copenhagen Central Station.

A good hotel in an excellent location for exploring Malmo. The building dates back to 1899 and is traditional in style. Located on the main pedestrian shopping street in Malmo, this hotel benefits from a prime location for the station (35 minutes to Copenhagen), the ferry terminal, restaurants, and bars.

We enjoyed the central location of the hotel - the charming atmosphere of the building and its surroundings. Staff very kind and helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Will be happy to return!

If you are looking for a hotel which is clean, friendly, well located and well priced, look no further. Located 150 metres from both the big and small squares, it is clean, nice shower, comfortable bed and hotel has internet facilities. I challenge anybody to find a more delicious breakfast for a hotel in the price range.
No tea making facilities in the room, this is a very small negative.
I stayed here 3 years ago and it has been renovated, and I would not hesitate to reccomend this hotel to anybody.
