Even the location is worth it...
Fantastic location at the heart of the city. Very good breakfast. Rooms are a little bit small.

Best Western Premier Hotell Kung Carl Rooms
- Superior
- Inclusive of a coffee/tea maker and a soft dressing gown. You also have the choice of requesting a room with a balcony, Jacuzzi or air conditioning.
- Deluxe
- All of our deluxe guest rooms feature a DVD player, a Nespresso coffee maker, a safety box and soft, comfortable dressing gowns. A few of our deluxe guest rooms also have a bath. Our deluxe guest rooms are essentially characterised by quality and design.
- Economy
- Available as a single or double room (some double rooms with 140 - 150 cm king size beds). The open floor space in these rooms is slightly reduced but offers good value for money if you plan to spend most of your time outside of the hotel.
- Classic
- Available as a single or double room. These guest rooms have an elegant ambience infused with comfort and original details. All guest rooms offer a high 4 stars standard with fully tiled bathrooms, writing desks, free wireless Internet access and LCD TV's. Smoking is prohibited throughout all areas of the hotel, including the guest rooms. Ironing facilities and Ice maker available.

Central hotel with everything you need
I stayed at this hotel as part of a package deal, so didn't really choose it myself. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was (for very little $$). The staff are very helpful, and all speak perfect english. The buffet breakfast was great, the room was small, but comfortable, and warm (with underfloor heating in the bathroom). It is perfectly situated to explore Stockholm. I would certainly stay there again.

The good but it could be better.
I have stayed 5 days. The hotel location was perfect. However there were some missing thingsin rooms like mini-bar. Also the bathroom was so so small and even the plumb is not useful for washing stuff.

A Nice Dormitory
The best thing about this hotel is its location. It is in the center of the city and within walking distance from the port and lots of places to shop. The room my spouse and I stayed in also had a little character (despite its very small size). The downside was that the interior and exterior walls of this hotel were so thin that we could hear noise all night long coming from both inside the hotel--like when people closed their doors--and also outside noise from the busy street on which this hotel was located. The whole place really felt less like a hotel and more like a college dorm (minus the internet facilities--there was a single computer in a small room with no window). The staff were ok, and bfast starts at 7:15 (rather than 6:30 as advertised). This is no problem if you don't have an early morning flight! Again, the location is great if you like the urban center.

Sightseeing tip:
Short drive from hotel
Go and see the famous Vasa ship that was resurrected from the sea! The museum tells quite an interesting story and the ship is an incredible sight to see! Nightlife in the city center also has much to offer.

Hotel Best Western Premier Kung
Hotel Best Western Premier Kung Carl Stockholm is an historical old hotel which is still being renovated. If one likes the classical style it is definitely a good place to stay. The location is very good in the middle of the city. Personell is helpful, breakfast is good.

great location
The Best Western Kung Carl has a great location. They say their brunch is excellenht though we couldnt try it because the restaurant was under restauration. The staff was ok, but we were expecting a very important letter and they sent it back. You can walk to everywhere from there. If I go back to Stockholm I will go back to the Kung Carl. You have shopping, nightlife and restaurants at a short walk from the hotel.

Minibar var tom och inga lotions
Minibar var tom och inga lotions etc. fanns på rummet - man kunde tydligen beställa detta, men kändes konstigt för ett 4-stjärnigt hotell

雰囲気のある重厚な建物で良かった。

雰囲気のある重厚な建物で良かった。 シャワースペースはちょっと狭いが、あの立地条件なら仕方がない。 周りは車や人の通りが多いのに静かでよかった。 ドリンクも1Fのバーでサービスしてくれるので助かった。
