Central Hotel Stockholm

Since the hotel was quite inexpensive i did not expect much from it, but I was VERY pleasantly surprised. The rooms are very small but spotlessly clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent and they even had breakfast available for people who had to leave earlier than the scheduled breakfast hours. The rooms face away from the busy street so they are quiet. The location is excellent - a few blocks to the train and bus terminals and within easy walking distance of many major sites. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would certainly stay there again.

The Central Hotel is just that, central to everything! You can either take the train or the bus, from the airport because the hotel is just around the corner. It is also across the street from the Nordic Hotel where the Ice Bar is located. The room was nice with a free bottle of water every day. Free cookies with tea or coffee and fresh fruit was available in the lobby daily. Shampoo, body lotion, vanity kit, soap refreshed daily. The free breakfast and Internet was a huge factor when I selected this hotel. The staff is great with Shuhrat being extremely helpful in booking my place at the Ice Bar as well as helping me to find places I had wanted to see. Victor also helped with a map to the piano stairs which were no longer there. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends. The candy at the front desk was great and when I went to their sister hotel The Richmond in Copehhagen, they were there too for free. I love free!!!

Nice hotel, centrally located. Very helpful staff, very nice breakfast. Tiny room but great value.

I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Great value, location, and comfort. The breakfast is great! The staff were friendly and helpful and I loved the 24 hour coffee and cookies!

I had a great time at this hotel..... Great customer service at the fromt desk... Room was nice and cozy.. Great location... You can't get any better than this... I will recommend this hotel to anyone....

Hotel location is really close whether one arrive with Flygbussarna bus or Arlanda Express train. If you're busy sightseeing/shopping 2-3 days in Stockholm this hotel is perfect. Maybe during longer stay one may find some shortages. To my mind even single room was spacious enough and bed is good for taller people.

nice stay, nice breakfast and nice 24 hours tea and biscuits. room was a bit cold though and dark. but it was fair enough. the cleaning lady just tidied up the bed nothing more, but still!

great location, nice staff, very nice breakfast. rooms were nicely sound-proofed. only negative was that the room overlooked the breakfast area and it was a little bright (lights were on the whole night, and the shades did not entirely shade the place). But that's a very minor complaint. great value!!

As a single traveler on a budget this hotel met my needs. The room was small but comfortable and the location was very convenient (short walk to train station and attractions). Everything was pretty much as advertised.

I had two different rooms over a three day period and each room had small problems. Drapes did not completely close in one and a bit of mold issues in the shower. Other room the towel warmer did not work and the rug could use a good cleaning. I recommend the rooms with hardwood floors. The beds were very comfortable and the single twin room was adequate. Nice windows that open, but the "court" view is another building. I thought the staff were exceptional, very kind and helpful. The breakfast was good with many choices. The location can not be beat if you want to be very close to the Central Station and close to shopping and Old Town. I would definitely stay here again.
