A good hotel with staff that care
A good hotel with staff that care and are flexible. Snow and ice forced me to use the hotel restuarant and that offered a surprising range of delicious dishes. Having stayed many times I am now better aware of the variety of rooms they offer - the less you pay the less you get in space, etc.

Rooms vary but bathrooms always feel small and utilitarian. Queen beds are very comfortable. The kettle is hidden within the specially designed desk. Breakfast is great but the breakfast room is like a big cafeteria and empty for the rest of the day. Overall it has everything but somehow fails to exude comfort. Great location for where I want to go.

The bed, room and bathroom were
The bed, room and bathroom were a good size, clean and comfortable. Great choice for breakfast. The hotel offers all the facilities you could ask of a hotel without becoming oppulent and arrogant. Only a short walk from the centre.

Great Swedish Hotel
Clean, well located, nice staff. I would recommend this hotel. Note, if traveling from train station by taxi check out price first. Should be about 125 SK but some taxis will charge 200 SK. Take only a reputable taxi company, not the bandit cabs that prey on tourists. Hotel is easily walked from train station (about one mile). If using Orbitz make sure the hotel front desk realizes that Orbitz is paying. At check-in (and check-out)they did not know that I had prepaid and they wanted to put it on my credit card. They quickly found the details in the back office.

It is all within 2-3 blocks and not that many tourists, mostly locals.

personnel extrêmement gentil, courtois et serviable; propreté impeccable; juste les dimensions de la chambre sont un peu étroites pour un couple; dans l'ensemble, très bon établissement; petit déjeuner gargantuesque!
