A fun hotel
A great hotel. The breakfast was amazing. Lots of choices and all were delicious. The room was efficient and cleverly designed. I traveled with a friend. The only negative is that the square was a bit noisy late in the night. It's in a great location for shopping and dining.

Nice and friendly, convenient location
I've never stayed in a room with no window before, so this one was of those inner rooms which didn't have one, but the design consiled it well, and an air conditionner did the job too.

You Get MUCH Better Than You Pay For!
As a frequent international traveler, I often find myself at high-end, mainstream luxury hotels that are typically centrally located and provide amenities and ease while navigating my way around an unfamiliar city - for a premium. I booked this trip on a whim and wanted to try something different. Rica Hotel Kungsgatan was refreshing! The hotel is just a few blocks from the city's central [train] station, a 20-minute ride directly to/from Stockholm-Arlanda Airport, and truly in the middle of it all; everything is within walking distance, and the hotel is literally housed within one of Stockholm's department stores for all the shopaholics out there. Having arrived early in the morning, I was greeted by what I have come to know as a consistent team of attentive, helpful, caring and an incredibly nice staff/associates. To my satisfaction, my room was ready. Though rooms are not as spacious as one might prefer, I found my room to be quite comfy -recommended for singles and couples alike. All guests receive complimentary wifi internet usage. Also complimentary, the hotel's breakfast buffet provided such a wide variety of food and beverages, including an array of meats, cheeses, smoked fish along with a selection of cereals, yogurts, breads, etc. and newspapers (various languages). I'm not typically a morning person, but I actually looked forward to the morning hours during my stay! I would whole-heartedly recommend this hotel. Rica Hotel Kungsgatan was a pleasant surprise, and I'm looking forward to my next visit to Stockholm! Hope this helps.

I would not rate the hotel as
I would not rate the hotel as a 4 star hotel. Small rooms and the bathroom were not clean and in a need of renovation. The location though is superb.
