Barely OK experience for a steep price!
Room has no AC. Only a small table fan - can be a sauna in summer. We could not sleep at night. The bathroom lights were broken. Staff was unfriendly - bluntly gave us two options: change the room or report in morning and someone will fix the lights. Tired, we did not change the room and reported in the morning. They still did not fix the lights. Close enough to attractions & restaurants, and the room was clean. Only two positives I noticed.

THE HOTEL HAD A GOOD LOCATION BUT CERTAIN AMENITIES WERE NOT AVAILABLE LIKE BATHROBES. THE ROOM WAS VERY VERY SMALL. THE INTERNET WAS NOT COMPLIMENTARY AND WAS COSTLY. BREAKFAST BUFFET DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH CHOICES. THE STAFF HOWEVER WAS VERY HELPFUL AND PROFESSIONAL, REALLY EXCELLENT.

Good location and price
The location would be best if you were using the convention center, which we weren't, but it was central enough to enjoy walking everywhere. We were greeted by a friendly staff, the room was very comfortable (though the street noise was significant - trolley, evening bar crowds). Rooms not on the street side probably quieter.

ZU LAUT
Die Strassenbahn fährt direkt vor dem Hotel bis tief in die Nacht. Fenster und Hauswand sehr schwach isoliert - alle Geräusche kommen ins Zimmer. Es ist unmöglich dort zu schlafen. Es ist eine Frechheit für so ein Zimmer noch Geld zu verlangen. eigentlich sollte man die Strassenseite schliessen und erst nach der renovation im 2012 (falls es eine gibt) zu öffnen. Hotelmanager wollte dazu Nichts sagen - ich empfehle dieses Hotel auf keinen Fall. Ich werde diese Beschwerde an Beobachter weiterleiten.

Bon hôtel, à recommander. Emplacement
Bon hôtel, à recommander. Emplacement près de la foire mais compte tenu de la facilité à utiliser les trams, fréquents et pratiques, il n'y a vraiment aucun problème : on est en plein centre ville en 3 à 4 minutes. A signaler d'ailleurs une initiative particulièrement heureuse : à votre arrivée, on vous remet une "mobility card" qui vous permet d'utiliser gratuitement ce réseau de trams durant tout votre séjour. Bravo ! Chambre double sur l'arrière du bâtiment agréable, silencieuse, propre, litierie en bonne état. Mais un peu chère 123 EUR en moyenne, auxquels il faut ajouter (surprise !) 27 CHF par jour de petit déjeuner, soit 21,5 EUR ; il faut cependant reconnaître qu'il est copieux et de qualité. Bilan : appréciation très positive.

O Hotel fica muito perto do centro
O Hotel fica muito perto do centro de Basileia (uns 5 minutos a pé). Transportes à porta. Embora o hotel seja bom, está a necessitar de remodelar, fica um pouco à quem de um hotel 4*. No geral é um bom hotel onde passei 5 dias agradaveis.
