One of Berne's best 4 star hotels. The hotel forms the modern part of what is a mainly traditional building. The hotel is actually part of the Berne Kursaal, which incorporates a casino, various restaurants and meeting facilities. It is opposite Berne's old town on the other side of the Kornhaus Bridge, set back from the road.

NEAR TO TE RAIL STATION

Small beds but is very near to the train station you can walk whith your lougage and all the time are buses in the front of the hotel to go to the center in 2 or 3 minutes

fine hotel

Greta Hotel, Great Location

Excellent hotel and location; we traveled to Berne via train and took the tram from the train station to the hotel -- everything was just as the hotel website described it. Hotel is within easy walking distance to the city old town for shopping, dining and sight seeing.

Vier Sterne sind mindestens 3 zuviel

Von aussen ein schönes Hotel. Innen passt es auch, es sei denn, man begibt sich in das Schlafzimmer. Wenn nicht die teuerste Kategorie gebucht wird, liegt das Zimmer im Innern des Hotels. Wenn man Pech hat, schaut man auf einen Innenhof von rund 2 Metern Breite und vielleicht 10 Metern Länge, kein Luftzug, nichts. Fenster auf nützt somit nichts. Wenn man "Glück" hat, ist der Innenhof zwar länger, aber gleich schmal und bietet ebenfalls keinen Luftzug. Da nutzt auch die Klimaanlage nicht viel, denn im Zimmer muffelt es aufgrund der fehlenden Lüftung. Am nächsten Morgen nach der Dusche stösst man beim Abtrocknen dann immer am wieder an die Decke (und das bei 1.86 Körpergrösse...). Doch die grösste Überraschung wartete beim Frühstück: Die Bedienung sprach kein einziges Wort Deutsch, nur Englisch. Zwar verstand sie mit Mühe, was wir wollten, aber was soll das? Das Hotel liegt mitten in der Bundeshauptstadt!!! Dieses Hotel hat mich 3x gesehen, das erste, einzige und letzte Mal. Schade, noch eine schlechte Hotelerfahrung in Bern...

Mille Sens in der Markthalle, direkt beim Bahnhof, hat den Aufenthalt in Bern wesentlich angenehmer gemacht.

hotel tres sympa

Hotel bien situé.Chambre grande,tres jolie la petite cascate a la fenetre.Restaurant tres bien decore et cuisine super bonne Personel extra sympa Enfin.. Passage obligatoire pour un sejour a Bern.

Ich hatte ein Zimmer ohne Fenster

Ich hatte ein Zimmer ohne Fenster mit schlecht kunktionierenden Klimaanlage; dazu noch ein Lied der Bohrmaschinen am Morgen. Für den Verlangter Preis, nich akzeptabel!
