Ok, but not quite worth the money.
Not comparable to rooms I have gotten for less money. Small and outdated with paper-thin walls. Oh, and no air-conditioning and the windows only open about 3 inches. Not recommended for summertime. Can't beat the location if you are looking for an easy path to and from the train station. Other than that, it is an extremely busy street.

Convenient location and friendly staff
A staff at the front desk was very friendly. Actually another guy was the same too. I was allowed to check in around 12 pm, 2 hr earlier than regular time, when a room was ready. The location is super. Only a short walk across street from the train station. The only drawback is that there was no free internet.

Kein zweites Mal...
Das Hotel haben wir nur für eine Nacht gebucht, um am Wochenende nach einer Feier zu übernachten. Es liegt vis à vis vom Bahnhof und ist somit schnell erreichbar. Der Empfang in der "Eingangshalle" war bei unserer Ankunft nicht besetzt. Nach einer kurzen Wartezeit kam dann das Personal. Das Zimmer war sehr spärrlich eingerichtet, die Möbel von schlechter Qualität und die Hälfte der Kleiderbügel war defekt. Die Matratze war zu weich, sich aufs Bett fallen lassen ist nicht zu empfehlen. Das Bad war für diese Verhältnise in Ordnung, es klebten jedoch Haare und Papier an der Wand neben dem Spiegel. Beim Föhn im Bad waren die Kabel zum teil freigelegt. Im grossen und ganzen wirkte das Zimmer nicht gerade sauber. Für eine Nacht ok, mehr nicht. Der Preis ist für diese Verhältnisse auch etwas überrissen.

frisch renoviert?
Wie lange steht das "frisch renoviert" schon da? Sehr einfach, Lage zentral aber laut. Heizung hat genügend Wärme gebracht, obwohl die Fenster nicht mehr die dichtesten sind.

Séjour d'une nuit
Chambre non fumeur pas respectée. Mais pour les autres prestations tout est ok.La chambre est propre.Nous n'avons pas utilisé le restaurant.

Gerne wieder....
Ein gutes Hotel zu einem fairen Preis mitten in Bern und beim Hauptbahnhof gelegen. Empfehlung: Wellness im Hotel Ambassador (Schwesterhotel) einplanen. Ist im Preis mit inbegriffen.
