Great experience!
Berne is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. The hotel is in an incredible location. it is across the street from where the pedestrian area begins. They have a small restaurant in a small island in the middle of the avenue, the rooms are very clean. The hotel is nice, the staff is wonderful. We had a 2-year old and a newborn with us, and did not have any problems. The room was a little small, but they were able to fit a crib in the room and we were allowed to leave our really expensive and large stroller with the reception over night. There was a breakfast included, and it was good. They had hard-boiled eggs (which is very common in Europe), meats, cheese and sausages. Overall we were really happy with the hotel, location and value. But for us, it was the ease of moving around with the kids and its proximity to all the sights. We would stay here again! Oh, parking is nearby for about US30 per day. It's expensive, but it's Switzerland. Not bad.

A good spot
A good location near the railroad station, trams and old town. Great food in restaurant. Desk staffed by owners/managers 24 hours and very helpful. Not fancy. Very clean.

Really helpful hotel
A traditional friendly 'old style' no nonsense hotel, family run, I believe. We arrived at 5am having driven through the night. The hotel staff immediately took on board we were tired, and had our room ready by 9am - what service! With free internet, a good buffet continental breakfast and excellent location in the city centre (which was not noisy). I would highly recommend.

Einfach und überzeugend
ich habe ein zimmer mit etagen-wc bzw. etagen-dusche/bad gebucht. sensationell preiswert. empfang freundlich und unkompliziert. zimmer sauber, einfach eingerichtet, mit waschbecken, bett mit guter matratze. zimmer zum überdeckten innenhof (kann allenfalls ein problem sein, bei lärmigen zimmernachbarn und offenem fenster). reichhaltiges frühstücksbuffet war im sensationell günstigen zimmerpreis inbegriffen. zu empfehlen für alle, die gerne zentral, gut und preiswert übernachten. ich gebe fünf sterne :)

Hotel un pò rumoroso, sia per i rumori da fuori, sia per alcuni problemini interni alla stanza, tipo rumori dal lavandino, scarichi di stanze contigue e vetri tremolanti per le vibrazioni. Condizioni generali della stanza poco presentabili. Nota positiva la posizione dell'hotel. Colazione appena decente.
