This is a great hotel to stay in Bern. Nice homy neighborhood. Easy access to the Bern Altstade and surrounding attractions. Comfortable beds and modern bathroom furnishings. The room a little small but very comfortable. Pleasant help staff at reception. Good substantial high quality breakfast. The only negative I can think of was that the breakfast room had no natural lighting and was too warm.

Great, clean hotel
This hotel was great. It was in a quiet part of town and within walking distance to shops, restaurants and attractions. The room was a bit small but this is typical for most Swiss hotels. The staff was friendly and knowledgable. Free breakfast and internet were great and the price was very reasonable. Would definitely stay again!

Unbeatable location for the price
Location one block from bus line. 24 hour assistance. Very helpful staff to English speaking customers

Good Experience
This is a nice modern hotel. Rooms are small, but you have everything you need to sleep comfortably. It's modern because the furniture looks like IKEA furniture. They have hairdryer in the bathroom. They don't have a fridge. Rooms are very clean, but I think that they have a problem with the sewer. A couple of times we felt toilet smell in the hallways and it wasn't from our toilet. The breakfast was included and it was one of the best we had in Switzerland and we traveled to 4 different cities. It was continental breakfast that included, among others, boiled eggs, 3 types of ham, 3 types of good cheese, cereals, milk, tea, coffee, excellent bread and fruits. In the reception area they have a coffee and tea machine and it's all free. Last, but not least, the location is very good. You can take tram 9 (5 minutes) or you can walk 10-15 minutes and enjoy the nice view and small streets of the city.

Money-saving tip:
Short walk from hotel
There is a Coop supermarket close to the hotel. It's easy to buy some food there if you are on a low budget and you like to make a sandwich or have a snack. Switzerland is expensive and that includes the restaurants.4 swiss francs for a small bottle of water bought at a kiosk is exaggerated. The same bottle of water could be only around 1 franc in the supermarket!

Perfektes Hotel für EXPO Besuch
Die Lage ist zwischen Expo-Gelände und der Stadt, an einem meistens ruhigen Ort. Das Badezimmer war frisch renoviert, jedoch gab es kleine Mängel an der restlichen Einrichtung, z.B. waren Kanten am Bett kaputt. Das Frühstück war vielseitig und frisch, der Speiseraum jedoch ein wenig trostlost. Die Preis-Leistung war gut, ich würde wieder kommen :)
