The Metropole is located within
The Metropole is located within walking distance from the Interlaken West train station and the Interlaken Ost train station. Essentially, it is situated in the middle between these 2 train stations. The breakfast provided by the hotel is exceptional. Unfortunately, during special occasions, you may be disturb by the noisy crowds late at night. Otherwise, its value for the money paid.

Short walk from hotel
Across the street is the Schuh Restaurant which is also excellent and on Tuesday evenings at the nearby Oberland restaurant, there is alpine music and fine fondue.

Beautiful view on the Jungfrau,
Beautiful view on the Jungfrau, clean room, good facilities. I visit this hotel since 30 years and I still want to come back.

The hotel is very good value for
The hotel is very good value for the money, good location, facilities were good and the staff always very courteous. In common with many modern hotels it hasn't got a great deal of character once you leave the main areas but there was a lot of open space in the reception and dining areas, and the food was good and plentiful
