ROSSLI Rooms

- The rooms are small and cosy most with wooden floors. The ceilings are low due to the age of the building, and the decor and furnishings are plain and simple, but perfectly comfortable. The rooms and their bathrooms were newly refurbished and are very comfortable.

Pleasant Enough Place
An OK stay. Bed had foot board - can't fit into bed with one. Belatedly - on 2nd day - made full accomodation by removing it. Sort of Ikea furniture in room. Redeeming virtue of place is super friendly family owner/operator.

Strongly recommend day trip to Ballenberg historic village / museum - Only 20Fr for RT train, bus and entry ticket. Ask for it at train station. Doing boat one way to Brienz would be 25Fr alone. Skip trip up Jangfrau - up and down once was $180 dollars! Can take train to Zermatt / Matterhorn for that.

Wonderful stay at Rossli
My wife and I stayed here in June 2009. We usually stay at 4 or 5 star hotels but decided to stay here based on other reviews. We were pleasantly surprised with the hospitality and warmth from the owners of the hotel. The service and included breakfast turned what would be a 2 star hotel into a 4 star hotel at minimum. Since we stayed here during the summer, I can imagine that the hotel is very cozy during winter as its close to ski slopes and the to Alps and to Interlaken West train station. It has a great location and the owners are very helpful in advising what activities to do with your amount of time.
